Summary: You're married to Paul and survive the attack on Arrakis and get reunited with Paul when he comes to the Freemen with his mom.

Warnings: Spoilers for Dune Part 1 and possibly part 2.

Author's Note: As promised earlier this week, here is my Paul imagine in honor of part 2 coming out. I have not had time to go see it yet but I did finish the book a few weeks ago.

I look down at the ring on my finger and twist it back and forth. I was married to Paul Atreides and had come with him and his family to Arrakis.

We had barely had two nights to settle in before we were attacked by the Harkonnen. I had managed to find a way out into the desert where I had been found by Duncan Idaho and taken to the Freemen.

It had been a few weeks since the attack and I had since given up hope at seeing my husband again. I knew Duke Leto had not made it out but as far as Paul and his mother went I hadn't heard anything.

I hear a commotion from out in the hall and I slowly poke my head out and see Freemen rushing past me to the main area of the cache.

I push my way to the front and see Stilgar has returned along with two other people. I can't make them out but Stilgar says, "No one is to touch them. They have earned the right to be here."

Stilgar steps to the side and the two people step forward and lower their hoods. My eyes immediately lock on the green eyes of my husband. I shout, "Paul!" Before I run forward.

The freemen go to stop me but Stilgar holds out his hand indicating for them to let me go. I wrap Paul in a hug as he picks me up and spins me around before setting me back on the floor.

He cups my cheek before giving me a long awaited kiss. I kiss him back savoring his familiarity. He pulls away before asking,"How did you get out?"

I reply," I found a hidden tunnel that led to the desert. Duncan found me and brought me here."

I see sadness pass across Paul's face at the mention of Duncan but he doesn't say anything. I turn next to him and bow to his mother as I say, "Hello Lady Jessica."

She gives me a kind motherly smile as she says, "How many times have I told you to just call me Jessica?"

I smile at her as she continues on, "It's good to see you again dear." I feel Paul take my hand and we face the Freemen. We begin to walk through the crowd who is staring at us.

Once we get to my room I feel Paul's hands on my waist as he pulls me to him. He rests his head on top of mine and I hear him mumble out, "I missed you."

I simply hum in response as we continue to stand in the middle of the room simply enjoying each other's presence after weeks of uncertainty.
