Summary: Beetlejuice realizes he has feelings for you

Author's note: I support the headcanon that Beetlejuice's hair changes color with his different moods. f/a means favorite activity or author if you like books either one.

 BJ's POV: I open the door to the attic after talking to Y/N and I see Adam and Barbera sitting on a chair off to the side of the attic. They look up as I walk in and immediately Barbera asks, "What's going on with your hair?" I look at her confused before walking over to a mirror to see what she's talking about. Sure, enough my hair is a new color, not green, not purple, but pink. I stare confused trying to figure out what is going on with my hair. My hair had never been pink before, usually, it was green and occasionally purple when I was sad, but pink was entirely new. I hear Barbera ask, "You see it?" I say, "Yes of course I see it how could I not? But I don't understand why pink or what caused it." She asks softly, "What were you doing before you came up here?" I say, "I was talking with Y/N." She glances at Adam, and she asks, "What were you talking about?" I said, "She was just talking about her f/a. It was so interesting to see her passionate about something that most people don't do or do just to pass the time and don't care about or think about. Also, the way her eyes lit up as she spoke and the way they seemed to sparkle was mesmerizing." I stop talking and see Barbera smiling at me and she asks, "Anything else?" I say, "Yeah she's really easy to talk to but at the same time when I talk to her I feel like I have snakes in my stomach. Also, I feel very protective of her and if anything were to happen to her I would kill them." I see Barbera's smile has widened and she says, "Well I think I know why your hair is pink." I reply, "And why is that?" She says, "Because you like Y/N." I stare at her in disbelief, and I say, "No I don't." She says, "Yes you do. How you described her when she was talking about her favorite things and how you feel around her is love. And it also explains the hair." I think about it briefly before saying, "Oh shit." I was in love and there was nothing I could do about it.
