Another day ahead

See the tears covered in red

But now I'm here to make it end

"Are you comfy, kitten?"

"Dada!"

"I know, bub, daddy knows!
We're going to see the jaguars, hm?"

Minho smiled widely when his
son held his beloved jaguar plushie
out for his father to take it just so
he could snuggle it up to Akemi.

It was one of the first spring days,
the sun was finally shining after
days of rain and the temperatures
were just enough for a nice
trip to the zoo.

Jisung and Minho had wanted to
take their little boy to the zoo for
quite a while now but so far it
had simply been too cold for
such a little bean.

"Ready?"

Jisung asked as he reached his family,
a backpack on his bag and his
favorite black beanie mostly
covering his brown, fluffy
mess of hair.

"Almost, we just need to..
Put kitten's hat on.
Very fancy, such a handsome kitten!"

And Akemi immediately squealed
when his father smiled so widely
at him as if he was the most
precious thing in the world.

Which he was, undoubtedly.

Especially with his white fuzzy
hat that had tiny ears and a
sleeping bear face sewn on it.

The little boy gurgles softly when
Minho placed a kiss on his head
and made sure Akemi was holding
tight onto his plushie so he wouldn't
lose it before they made their
way to the entrance.

Jisung wasted no time in
intertwining their hands since
he knew his husband was a
pro at guiding the stroller
with one hand.

Their friends were already waiting
for them, secretly just as excited as
Akemi who was probably only
there for the jaguars.

Hyunjin had used the excuse to
find some inspiration for his
drawings while Felix had insisted
that it'd be a good reason for
him to walk around.

Although he had been recommended
to go on regular walks by his doctor,
the further along he got with his
pregnancy, the lazier he got as well.

Nobody could blame him,
he was seven months pregnant
after all and the cold, rainy days
hadn't been inviting to leave the
warm, cozy apartment either.

And Changbin and Seungmin were
just there for aesthetic reasons.

"Hi guys, hi little guy!"

Hyunjin giggled as he waved at
tiny Akemi and delivered an
overly dramatic reaction when
Akemi answered with a soft
"Un.. Jinnie..", his eyes sparkling
in a similar way to his uncle's.

"Minnie, he knows me!
He knows my name, you heard it?"

The tall male squealed and tugged
on his boyfriend's hand, making
Seungmin wonder who the actual
child of their group was.
