"We need to remove the body before the others see it," Yoongi's voice suddenly sounded as he emerged from the plane. Namjoon looked at him in shock, but Jin sighed and stood up.

"Joonie, do you think you can help us?" he asked the younger member, who still seemed quite out of it, looking at him confusedly but getting up.

"Sure..." he mumbled, but it was clear that he was reluctant and only helping because he was stronger than Yoongi and Jin, and therefore could assist better. I didn't want to imagine how they would react when they saw the two pilots... Would it affect them more to bury their manager or to discover the badly injured men in the cockpit?

"If you're sensitive, you shouldn't look into the cockpit... I'll search for some tarps in the cargo hold; we need to wrap them up. It's not a sight for weak nerves," I warned the three of them, who nodded solemnly and then set off to retrieve their manager from the plane. The cargo hold was not accessible from inside; one could only enter through a hatch from outside. I searched for it and quickly opened it with the key that I had attached to my uniform at the beginning of the flight, which had a copy of every lock on the plane. Inside were all our luggage, food and drinks to restock the kitchen quickly, tools, spare bedding, several first aid kits, and a few crates that I needed to go through. Luckily, in the second crate, I found enough plastic tarps since they were used as underlays during aircraft repairs. So I took two out and brought them into the plane. The manager was already gone by now, and just as I was about to open the cockpit door, Hoseok came running towards me from behind, rubbing his temples as he probably had a headache - not surprising after a half-crash that turned into an emergency landing. Since I didn't know how he would react and remembered how easily startled he was, I kept the door closed for now.

"What happened?" he asked softly, also seeming somewhat disoriented, looking at me with wide eyes when he noticed the tarps.

"Where are the others? Did... did something happen to anyone?" he asked worriedly, suddenly appearing much more alert, likely due to the adrenaline that was released from his fear for his bandmates.

"Don't worry, your members are fine," I began, and I could practically hear the stones falling from his heart. But then he eyed the tarps suspiciously, and I let out a sigh as my shoulders slumped.

"They didn't make it... the pilots and... your manager," I informed him softly, then cautiously lifted my gaze only to see him silently weeping. It almost broke my heart to witness him standing there with his mouth agape, trying to comprehend what had happened. I wanted to hug him tightly, but I wasn't sure if it was okay to cross that boundary of his privacy. Yet, before I could finish debating it internally, he had fallen to his knees in tears. I threw etiquette out the window and rushed towards him, taking three quick steps to envelop him in a tight embrace. To my surprise, he returned the hug and allowed himself to be comforted by me without resistance.

"Where is Manager-nim now?" he asked after a while, sniffling. "Jin, Namjoon, and Yoongi took him out of here," I explained, and he nodded, seemingly relieved not to have seen him anymore.

"And the pilots?" he then asked, and I sighed at the memory of their state still sitting in the cockpit.

"They're still there... you shouldn't go in there... not even take a quick look... okay? It's not for weak nerves," I warned him, hearing another sob escape from him briefly before he nodded.

"It's best if you sit outside for a while, on the beach, soak up some sun, the warmth and light will help with the shock. We'll take care of everything here," I suggested and led him outside, positioning him so that he couldn't see when the bodies were being removed. Then I went back inside, checked on the Maknae line who were still unconscious, and took hold of the tarps again before placing my hand on the cockpit door handle.
