"You can do it, it's not hard at all... not strange at all... he won't think you're crazy... oh yes he will ahhh..." I mumbled to myself as I made my way to Jin. Of course they didn't make it any easier for me, didn't let me avoid Jin one bit, instead they had chosen me to catch fish with Jin today... and I had no idea how that worked, I was in charge of the nets with Joonie. I could still feel the spiteful laughter and sniggering of the Maknaes behind me as I got closer and closer to Jin, who was getting the fishing equipment he had made ready to go to the lake... and I thought the three of them loved me... Traitors. Let's see how long I could talk to him without having to address him...
"Um... Jimin sent me to help you fish today... but I'm sure I won't be of any use to you, I can't do it." I tried to talk myself down right away, maybe he wouldn't take me with him then.
"Ah, fine. No problem, I'll show you how to do it." he dashed my last hope with his answer and gave my hair an encouraging tousle before running off. Namjoon, who was standing by the cargo hold, held out a bottle of water to me.
"Here, you haven't had anything to drink since this morning and the sun is shining strong and hot today," he said, before opening one himself and drinking from it. I gratefully took the bottle and turned to Jin, who was almost out of sight. Now I had to call him...
"J-... Daddy... wait for me" I shouted after him and was hit by a gush of water, because Namjoon spat out the water he had just drunk in a high arc in shock and then looked at me in horror, but I couldn't deal with it anymore because I was running after Jin, who had now stopped and was looking at me with a raised eyebrow.
"What did you just shout?" he wanted to know curiously, but fortunately didn't seem to have understood properly.
"Just that you should wait for me," I said as innocently as possible and he turned around with a furrowed brow to continue walking with me. A few drops ran down my leg and my pants were a little wet, but luckily it wasn't much and I would definitely get more water at the lake. When we arrived at the lake, Jin put our things down and took the two improvised fishing rods out of the bucket he had put them in. Smiling, he handed me one. He picked up a crab that he had plucked out of the wet sand on the beach with Jimin and attached it to a nail hanging from the line; unfortunately we didn't have any hooks, but the construction served its purpose. He stood close behind me and guided my arm backwards and then forwards with a swing so that the bait plopped into the water a few meters away.
"That's how it works... Unfortunately, we don't have anything to reel it in, so you have to pull the line out manually if you notice it moving more violently," he explained, but didn't move away from me. I swallowed... It was now or never... I had to go through it anyway.
"Thank you, Daddy." I said quickly before pressing my lips together into a thin line. He turned me gently towards him and looked at me carefully.
"So I didn't mishear you earlier after all... Babygirl..." he said with a delighted grin. I'm not going to lie, when he spoke to me like that, my heart leapt a little.
"Do you have a Daddykink?" he asked and I shook my head in confusion.
"What's that? I've never heard of such a thing..." I wanted to know and he looked at me skeptically.
"And why do you call me that?" He looked at me and I smiled innocently again, I couldn't tell him that the Maknaes were forcing me.
"I just felt like it..." I said, shrugging my shoulders and turned back to the water.
"You can call me whatever you like, of course... but it has an effect." With a grin, he took the other rod and let the bait disappear into the water with an elegant movement. We sat next to each other in silence until something seemed to have caught and I quickly pulled the line out of the water. Jin helped me and together we pulled out a fish that could probably feed three people.
"Look, Daddy... what a big one..." I exclaimed enthusiastically, jumping up and down with joy and then hugged him. He smiled painedly as Yoongi's voice rang out behind us.
"Thats what she said..." he said with a grin before looking at Jin questioningly.
"Did you teach her that?" he wanted to know from the eldest, who just raised his arms cluelessly.
"I don't know where she got that from, but I'm certainly not complaining."
