Y/N POV
I opened my eyes with difficulty, bathed in glaring light... was that it now? Was I dead? But then I felt the pain, my back hurt terribly, I had a headache and the pressure in my lungs was not to be sneezed at either... I remembered the shadow, the hands, how I was pulled up... It hadn't been too late after all. After rubbing my eyes, I also realized that it had only been the ceiling light that had blinded me. As I was dry, I assumed that they had changed my clothes, the shock that was still in my bones made me shake uncontrollably. Immediately, arms wrapped around me from behind, pulling me against a warm, strong body... Namjoon. I turned in his arms and snuggled up to him. His grip on me tightened, almost as if he was afraid I would be taken away from him, then I heard him sobbing. Namjoon was crying... it was the first time I had ever seen him cry...
"I thought I had lost you.... " his voice sounded broken as he hugged me tightly.
"I also thought I was going to die and never see you again." I confessed quietly, to which he only sobbed even more.
"Do you know how much I love you? If I hadn't found you underwater, I wouldn't have resurfaced..." his words moved me so much that I cried with him.
"Oh Joonie... I love you too... so much... each of you. I'm glad that you found me, that I'm alive... and you too." I whispered as I stroked his back. Then I covered his face with kisses.
"Thank you... thank you for saving me." I breathed before I connected our lips. His kiss was desperately longing and so loving at the same time, tasting as salty as the sea from our tears. We slowly calmed down, kissed each other slowly and deeply as we clutched each other tightly, the relief of still being alive was so great, I would have loved to hug them all like that, but since that wasn't possible, Namjoon got everything vicariously. But he didn't seem to mind. After a while, Hobi brought Sora because she was hungry. The moment I had my daughter in my arms again and we hadn't been separated, I was crying my eyes out again. My daughter drank unimpressed, while Hobi and Joonie each hugged me from one side.
"We'll be right there. They've informed the police, they'll pick up Amber and Jade and escort us safely to the airport, if we take the next available flight, we'll be in Seoul by noon today," Hobi informed us. I heaved a sigh of relief, this nightmare was over... But the time that followed would certainly be exciting and nerve-wracking...
"Has anyone contacted Hybe yet?" asked Namjoon, but Hobi shook his head.
"I don't want to deal with them today..." he then said
"Okay, but as soon as we get ashore, I'll call Bang PDnim and let him know that we're still alive..." said Namjoon.
"Can you lend me your cell phone afterwards? I want to call Mina." I asked Namjoon.
"Sure. And we should all call our families, so they don't find out from the press." he thought. It would be a big deal as soon as it went public.
"Guys, we're here, we're docking in Okinawa harbor. The police are taking us to the airport, get ready." Jin shouted. I went on deck with Sora in my arms and the boys carried our luggage. The two girls had just been taken away, they were all disheveled, had welts on their faces, torn hair and bloody lips. I didn't want to know who had done this to them, I didn't care, but Yoongi's grin, Tae's contemptuous look and Jimin smugly waving after them gave me a faint idea. I wouldn't have put it past any of them, but I didn't blame anyone either, I would have acted similarly if I had been alone with them. That Amber would have lost a few teeth for trying to kill my child...
