"Hey..." I heard a hesitant voice as I continued searching in the cockpit, and I looked up. Jungkook stood there, examining the bloodstained seats before turning his gaze to me. As confident as he had seemed during the flight this morning, he now resembled a fearful little boy.

"Thank you for saving us..." he continued softly, and I turned fully towards him.

"I didn't save you, I just directed you to the right places... the pilots saved you... us," I quickly deflected, but he shook his head.

"Yes, the pilots did that too, but if you hadn't brought us to the back... I overheard you talking, I know Manager-nim didn't survive because he was sitting in the front. So thank you... and... I'm sorry about earlier... I shouldn't have done that," he said remorsefully, but I just smiled kindly at him.

"It's all right, nothing happened." I reassured him, and he sighed in relief.

"You must constantly fend off crazy people treating you like fresh meat," he continued talking, and I shook my head with a chuckle.

"No, today was the first time actually," I grinned, and he looked at me confusedly.

"Huh? But you're so pretty, you must constantly... hey... wait a minute... did you just call me crazy?" He smiled broadly; this little conversation had brought smiles to our faces and made us feel slightly better in this terrible situation. Both grateful for the welcome distraction.

"Can I help somehow?" he asked me then, and I nodded.

"Yes, actually... we're going to settle in here in the plane, similar to a camping trip with a camper van... It will probably take some time until we're found, but with the blood and the broken window... we shouldn't attract wild animals, so we need to remove the seats, and then I can clean up here." I handed him a wrench, and he got to work removing the seats while I took a bucket and headed to the beach. Since I didn't want to waste drinkable water for cleaning, I took a load of seawater... the floor didn't have to be perfect, we just needed to get rid of the blood. When I returned, the seats were already removed.

"Where should I bring them?" he asked enthusiastically, and I wondered why his members wanted to spare him because he seemed to handle it better than Jin and Namjoon.

"Bring them to the beach, but position them so that Hobi doesn't see the blood," I instructed him, and he lifted one of the heavy seats as if it weighed nothing... I was genuinely impressed.

"Alright, I've placed both seats so that no one sees the blood, and they'll clean themselves that way too," he said contentedly, and I stood up since I was finished and the floor was now free of blood. Wild animals wouldn't be attracted anymore, but just to be safe, I would lock the cockpit door so that we wouldn't have any surprise visitors.

"Why would they clean themselves?" I asked, confused.

"Because I put them in the sea, then we'll take them out later and let them dry in the sun..." he explained his plan, but I looked at him alarmed and ran to the beach. As I had feared, the waves had carried them further into the sea, and the current had swept them away. There was nothing left of the seats to be seen.

"Oh crap... I didn't think about that," he said dejectedly, and I slumped down in the sand defeated.

"But it's not that bad, we still have plenty of other seats," he continued, but I just sighed before responding.

"Under one of the seats... there was the black box... with its signal, they could have located us... they probably haven't done that yet because we're not even reported missing..."
