"Oh... ohhhhh. I messed that up..." he looked dejected.

"Not everything is lost yet, we still have the radio, we just need to figure out how to activate the automatic distress signal," I reassured him. We could still hope that the black box hadn't drifted too far away and would at least give away our approximate position. On the other hand, it could also mislead the rescuers, making them believe that we had crashed into the open sea and didn't survive. We could only hope.

"The important thing is to secure the plane, anchor it well, maybe try to push it somehow or make it more stable on the beach side with more sand. Right now, it's far enough from the water and shouldn't be in danger of being swept away, but we have no idea what would happen during a storm. The jet is important for us, not only because it provides us with shelter and some security, but also because it's highly visible in case they're searching for us. We should always stay close to it," I explained, and he nodded.

"Could we maybe keep the black box thing to ourselves?" he asked awkwardly while nervously scratching his head.

"As long as no one asks about it, let's just not mention it," I promised with a smile since he looked like a remorseful little boy hoping not to get scolded.

"Thank you, Mina," he said with a relieved smile.

"Y/N..." I didn't want to be stuck here and addressed by the wrong name. If my sister lost her job because of this, so be it, but I didn't want to pretend to be someone else for who knows how long.

"But your uniform says Lee Mina..." he said confusedly, and I sighed. "The uniform belongs to my sister; I'm just filling in for her... she missed her flight and asked me to do it so she wouldn't get fired," I explained, and he looked somewhat speechless.

"So, you're sitting here just because you wanted to help your sister? You're not even a flight attendant?" he asked curiously, and I nodded.

"Actually, I'm a medical student," I admitted, and he started grinning.

"That's even better in case someone gets sick or injured. But why do you know so much about what we need to do here?" he wanted to know.

"I'm obsessed with the show Mayday, and Mina also tells me a lot about her job. She even gave me a crash course. The rest is just common sense," I explained, and he chuckled.

"Well, you seem very smart; you think of so many things that wouldn't even cross my mind." He praised me.

"Thank you, but I have to be since I want to become a doctor. You can only get into medical school with top grades," as I spoke, I suddenly heard his stomach growl, and I remembered the food that I heated up in the sun.

"Go sit with Hobi; I'll bring you guys something to eat," I suggested, but he shook his head.

"You're not here to work anymore... we're all equal, so I'll help you distribute the food," he said, his firm gaze leaving no room for objection. I certainly wouldn't complain, so I just nodded with a smile. Jungkook jogged back to the plane and brought one of the low coffee tables to the beach, simply placing it in front of Hobi and then setting all the aluminum trays on it, while I fetched the cutlery and drinks for everyone and then checked where the others were. Jimin and Taehyung had also woken up by now and were hugging each other while quietly talking, Jin stood beside them, soothingly stroking their backs.

"We've prepared some food on the beach. Are you coming?" I informed them and saw Jin nod.

"I'll get Yoongi and Namjoon; they could use a break," he said and left. Jimin let go of Taehyung, who now looked at me curiously. Then suddenly, I was pulled into a tight hug.

"Thank you so much..." Jimin said. "... for not letting go for even a second." he continued, and my heart warmed.

"But not just for that... you helped me too, so I wouldn't be as scared..." Over Jimin's shoulder, I saw Taehyung's gaze practically drilling into my eyes... probably wondering what we were talking about.
