"Well, if people have been here to party before... then it's not that unlikely that they'll come back. Maybe this is our only chance to be saved." Jin said at breakfast, after we had told the others everything we had found on our expedition.
"But probably not any time soon, the party season for the spoiled, rich kids with their yachts probably won't start again until summer... It's winter now. It's not that cold here, but they don't have time because they're snowboarding somewhere..." Hobi put it into perspective with a glance at me, as he knew how sensitive I was to this. Yoongi had also noticed that I was grimacing again and slapped the table lightly with the flat of his hand, not hard enough to startle, but loud enough to draw attention to himself.
"I think we should settle this once and for all... I think we can all agree on that anyway. Y/N belongs to m... um to us... nothing will change that, ever. I... uh we'll never give it back and nobody... really NOBODY will talk us into it. As soon as we get back, you'll marry us anyway..." he simply stated.
"Ok... that sounds like a good plan, but there's a catch..." I replied, smiling weakly.
"She can't marry us all... At least not legally." Jimin interjected.
"We'll have a ceremony where we all just marry each other." Hobi suggested and everyone nodded, that was a good idea.
"But one of us should still marry her legally as a representative." Namjoon said. Yes, that made sense, no one could shake our relationship if we made it official.
"I'll do it voluntarily." said Jungkook with a grin, to which Taehyung and Yoongi protested almost simultaneously.
"Why you, this was my idea..." complained Yoongi.
"We're not going to start fighting over this issue, we'll somehow settle it fairly via random chance when the time comes... besides, he's only her husband on paper and to the public, it'll be all of us... He's only marrying her on behalf of all of us. It won't change the fact that we are all equal together." Namjoon resolved any disputes before they arose.
"But he's the only one who can kiss her in public..." sulked Taehyung, puckering his lips sweetly.
"Then he'll just respectfully refrain from making out with her in public, then it's not unfair for the others either." Jin simply ended the discussion.
"Okay, we can leave that topic until we get back and you..." Hobi tapped the tip of my nose affectionately with his finger. "You don't need to stress or worry about it any more... Just look forward to seeing your sister again as soon as we're rescued." he reassured me and I smiled gratefully at him... all of them. In fact, this gave me so much security that I no longer felt our impending rescue like a sword of Damocles hanging menacingly over my head, threatening to strike me down at any moment.
"We now know the outline of the island and I can make a map, there are still some places inside the island that we haven't explored, but we can reach them in a short time, then we don't need to stay overnight... unless we want to go back to the other side. I would like to plan for the long term and grow more and more plants here so that we can have a more varied diet. The seeds we were able to secure from the vegetables here at the beginning are growing and thriving, we'll soon have tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers ripe, but I ask you to get the seeds out of everything so that we can continue planting... That way we will be able to harvest more and more. I also need someone to help me," Namjoon explained his plan for the next few weeks.
"I'll help with the planting, I have so little to do so far anyway." I volunteered and Hobi also raised his hand.
"Me too, then the two of us can do the digging and hauling while Y/N takes care of the plants." he offered and Namjoon nodded.
"Yoongi, Jimin and I will take care of the fishing and smoking." Jin said.
"Okay, then Kookie and I will continue to build the additional buildings. Maybe we'll have a complete house here one day." Taehyung thought about it, but somehow the plane was so comfortable and well equipped that we didn't really want to leave... but a few extra rooms that we could use for other purposes wouldn't hurt.
