After we all took our seats at the table, we ate in silence, each lost in our own thoughts, trying to come to terms with what had happened to us, why it was our fate to suddenly find ourselves in such a situation. Who wakes up in the morning thinking that they'll end up on a deserted island in the middle of - which sea was this anyway? I strained to remember our flight route; the Pacific Ocean only began beyond Japan, we had flown too long for the South China Sea... Philippine Sea or already Coral Sea? Or somewhere in between in the Bismarck Sea? No matter how much I thought about it, I didn't know. After all, they could have changed the route to reach an airport, and we ended up somewhere completely different...

"Did you manage to reach anyone on the radio earlier?" Namjoon's voice finally pulled me out of my musings. "No, I didn't hear anything except static... on all frequencies. Either something got damaged during the crash or there are interference signals somewhere," I explained, and he nodded.

"Did you activate the distress signal?" he asked, and I sadly shook my head.

"I have to tell you something; my name is not Mina, as it says on my name tag. My name is Y/N; I'm just filling in for my sister as an emergency replacement... I only had a crash course and don't know how to operate the radio. I haven't found the emergency switch yet and didn't want to accidentally mess something up, so I'm still looking for the user manual..." I confessed, earning surprised faces.

"You're not a flight attendant and yet you were able to do so much to help us and know what to do after we landed?" Jin asked impressed.

"Are you a sasaeng fan who snuck in?" Taehyung asked suspiciously, and I looked at him indignantly.

"How on earth was I supposed to know that you were the passengers? Oh yes, Mina, become a flight attendant so that in a few years, I can sneak into an airplane and end up on a deserted island with BTS... that's exactly how it happened, the most realistic scenario..." I said slightly offended, and he raised his hands apologetically.

"We've experienced quite a lot... just recently, a fan named Lara tried to steal the toilet from our dorm while disguised as a plumber..." he defended himself with a shrug.

"I would have preferred not to miss my lectures today and be sitting in a cafe with my friends studying..." I explained, and Jungkook smiled encouragingly at me.

"You should know, she's studying medicine, so she's even more useful in this situation... we have our own island doctor," he told the others, and they looked surprised.

"Not quite a doctor yet, that will happen in a few months," I pointed out, but Jimin shook his head. "Well, for me, that's close enough," he dismissed, and I smiled.

"Well, it is useful... depending on how long we're stuck here," I conceded.

"That shouldn't take too long... once they locate the black box..." Namjoon said, and immediately Jungkook lowered his gaze shamefully to his food.

"It seems like it somehow ended up in the sea and got washed away somewhere else. They won't be able to find us with that..." I informed them, and Namjoon looked at Jungkook suspiciously.

"Where did you actually take the pilot seats earlier?" he asked the youngest, and I saw him swallow. He knew...

"I put them in the water to wash them, but they drifted away," he admitted guiltily, but Namjoon seemed willing to let it go. Unnecessary blame would only destroy the atmosphere among us.

"It's okay, Kookie... they were just seats," he reassured him and stroked his back. I gave him my warmest smile, and he winked at me, confirming my suspicion that we would keep this to ourselves. After all, we couldn't change it anyway...
