Namjoon POV
Yoongi and I were half-heartedly sneaking through the forest, as we had dug three graves in the midday heat earlier... with improvised shovels, which wasn't easy, and carrying the bodies had been exhausting. That's why we were taking it slow now, barely talking to each other but paying close attention to our surroundings. So far, we hadn't found any fruits or vegetables, but I had already come across some herbs that we could use for seasoning or tea. We hadn't even gone very far, maybe a few hundred meters, but I noticed more and more green patches on the previously brown forest floor, which was a good sign that there was flowing water nearby. That meant drinkable water within reach for us. Soon, we heard a faint splashing sound and found a small stream, big enough to fetch water and bathe in. It wasn't very deep; the water reached our knees, as we realized when we took off our clothes and waded in. Since we were both covered in sweat, it was a real relief.
"Fuck... this is exactly what I needed," Yoongi said with a sigh of relief as he simply sat down so that only his head stuck out of the water. In contrast, half of my upper body was still above the waterline, making Yoongi look like a little boy and making me giggle. To his defense, he leaned back in relaxation while I sat upright, which made it no less funny-looking.
"Luckily, we found water. I wouldn't have been able to take another step today," I said after a while, and he nodded with closed eyes.
"Yeah, me neither... I just want to eat something later and then go to bed." He replied tiredly.
"We still need to figure out sleeping arrangements though. There are only three bedrooms for eight people," I pointed out.
"Those are king-size beds, three people can easily fit in there. I don't care who sleeps with me, as long as I have enough blanket and no one kicks me out of bed," he said disinterestedly, and I could tell he was really exhausted... he had worked so hard physically today, not to mention the mental exhaustion that came with the events of the day. It was understandable, and I could empathize with him.
"But we need to figure out what to do with the girl," I pondered aloud, and he grinned at me.
"She can come sleep with me if she wants," he generously suggested, and I shook my head with a smile.
"That's what you'd like, then she might as well sleep with Jungkook. No, depending on who shares a room with whom, she should sleep with Jin or Tae, where she'll be safe. But we'll discuss it all together later," I said firmly, and he chuckled softly.
"Do you think those two are innocent angels? Do you know that Jin has more kinks than I have underwear?" he said amused. "Of course, I know that, but I also know that none of us seven have as much self-control as they do, and they show more responsibility when it comes to relationships than the rest of us combined. So unless we're stuck here forever, nothing will happen," I defended the two.
"Yeah... unless we are... and what if we are? Honestly, if we're stuck here for longer than two weeks, I'm grabbing the little one before anyone else does... maybe even before that," he confessed.
