"Can I do your makeup?" Jungkook came into the room where I was being prepared for the wedding and shooed away the make-up girl who had been standing behind me sorting her utensils. She gave him a dirty look, but he just pushed her out of the room.
"I'll do it," he said and I heard her cursing under her breath, something like: Jeon never lets me do my job. It was a professional stylist in charge of BTS, apparently she wasn't on good terms with Kookie, who just smirked.
"Let him be, baby... He's better at it than most makeup noonas." claimed Taehyung, who was sitting on the small sofa to keep me company as I was more than nervous. After all, it wasn't every day that people got married, especially not in front of so many people and TV cameras everywhere, as Hybe had only approved this wedding to capitalize on it and make as much money as possible. Jungkook looked me in the eye and then pulled me into his arms.
"Relax... we're all with you, nothing can happen to you. Ignore anything that makes you nervous. When we go out there later, just look at Jimin. Just stick with him, he'll sort everything out. He's used to it, so trust him, ok?" he reassured me gently, actually eliciting a smile from me. Then he got to work on the make-up and started to put it on me. His face was very close to mine and as he worked, I kept catching his gaze, which made the butterflies dance in my stomach. He smiled every time and kissed me briefly, but only until my lips were finished. He had covered the mirror so that I couldn't look in it.
"Now it's my turn!" Taehyung called out excitedly and took my dress off the hook, which he then helped me put on. He adjusted my sash and then tied a delicate purple satin belt around my waist, which immediately spiced up the ivory-colored princess dress. There was a knock at the door and Jin, Yoongi and Hobi came in. They stared at me, saying nothing, until Jin suddenly rubbed his eyes.
"I'll do your hair." He informed me with moist eyes. I smiled at him encouragingly, but I don't think they were sad tears. He combed the left side of my hair back and pinned it tightly to my head with bobby pins before moving to the right side and curling my long hair with the curling iron. Hobi put a tiara on my head that felt so heavy that I assumed it had real stones in it and not an imitation. After the two of them had stepped back, Yoongi held out a precious case covered in black velvet and opened it. Inside was a silver necklace, the pendant was a purple heart, at first I thought it was an amethyst, but it sparkled too much for that, it was a purple diamond. It came with matching earrings. He put the necklace on me before attaching the earrings. Then he took a step back.
"Perfect," he said and pulled the scarf from the mirror that Jungkook had hung up earlier.
"Is that really me? When did I become so beautiful?" I looked at my reflection in shock. I really did feel like a princess, because I certainly looked like one.
"Since always..." Yoongi said, puzzled by my question. Before I could answer, Namjoon came in.
"It's time, everyone take your seats." he shooed his members out before holding his arm out to me, as he was the best man.
"Are you ready? Jimin is waiting for you..."
