Y/N Pov

I was peacefully asleep in Taehyung's arms when a loud knocking cruelly tore me from my dreamland. Taehyung snorted in annoyance, just as not yet back in reality as I was, but the person at the door was quite insistent.

"It's probably Jimin, who also wants to sleep," he speculated, sighing as he struggled to get out of bed.

"But Jimin would never knock sooooo forcefully, would he?" I asked, confused, but by then he had already opened the door. Jungkook immediately rushed in and pulled me into a tight hug that was more like a clinch and Yoongi pressed Taehyung against the wall.

"What did you do to her?" he asked menacingly as Jungkook kept stroking my hair.

"Kookie... let go of me, you're suffocating me." I complained and immediately his grip loosened.

"Are you ok? H-have you...?" he asked and I looked at him as if I doubted his sanity, which I just did, because just two hours ago he had voted that this scenario could have happened, but I guess he hadn't thought that far ahead, only had his own interests in mind.

"Yes, we were... we were sleeping peacefully until you nastily woke us up," I complained and Yoongi immediately let go of Taehyung.

"What's wrong with you two? You don't have to assume anything about me. Come to your senses, is this some kind of cabin fever? Is this island causing you mental problems? You're not usually like this..." Tae grumbled and the two of them looked at us guiltily. The situation was fraying all our nerves and I could imagine that there would probably be more times when someone acted irrationally as we faced an uncertain future. Our usual everyday life was gone from one day to the next, we were facing completely different challenges and I was sure that in the end we would grow, but on the way there would be many problems that we would have to face and overcome. These were extreme circumstances we were in and we would just have to be more understanding of each other and have clarifying conversations before emotions boiled over to the point of escalation.

"I'm... I'm sorry, Tae..." mumbled Yoongi, who was visibly embarrassed by his behavior earlier and seemed to have taken Taehyung's words to heart, because he went straight to his room and dropped the subject of what he had come here for. But Jungkook didn't seem quite so understanding, because he didn't want to let go of me at all.

"Why don't you come into the room with me and Jin, I can take better care of you there?" he pleaded tearfully.

"Honestly Jungkook, you're with Jin so he can look after you and I feel more comfortable with Jimin and Taehyung, I think I'm better off there for now." I declined his offer and he let out a whiny whimper as he buried his face against my neck and hugged me tightly again.

"Listen Kookie... We'll tell Jimin to sleep with Jin tonight and you sleep with us, ok? But this is an exception, no room swaps." Taehyung suggested to the younger boy, his gaze had softened and I realized that he apparently wasn't going to give up my closeness willingly right now, so we let him stay, tonight was already conflict-ridden enough. There was nothing left of the usually flirty and charming Jungkook, instead he had become the clingy baby in need of love again, which he had already shown me a few times when he had cuddled with me in front of the TV, for example. So I let myself sink into the pillows with him and he closed his eyes, smiling contentedly. Earlier I would have liked to smack him a few, but now my heart was warm again because he was so cute again. No one had ever confused me as much as he did.
