A loud knocking woke me from my sleep and I wearily lifted my head, which had previously been resting against Namjoon's bare chest. Jimin, who was pressing his face into my neck from behind, grumbled at the sudden movement that disturbed his peaceful sleep. Since I was sandwiched between them, I wouldn't have been able to get up to open the door anyway, so Jimin plodded over with his eyes half closed. His mother was standing outside the door, that much I could see from the bed.
"You need to get ready, your flight leaves in two hours. I woke up the others too, but I couldn't find Namjoon..." she said as he held up his hand.
"I'm already here... My suitcase is packed, I just have to get dressed." he mumbled sleepily and she nodded in satisfaction.
"Good, then I'll leave you to get dressed," she said with a grin, as Jimin only had one blanket wrapped around him and Namjoon's and my head were the only things peeking out from under the other comforter. She probably knew exactly what we had done here, but didn't seem to mind. So the lovely night was probably over and at the same time terribly tired, but still totally excited, I went to take a shower.
An hour later, we were all on the little bus that took us everywhere when we had to go somewhere and headed for the airport.
"Do any of you know where we're going?" asked Jin, but everyone just lifted their shoulders... except for Hobi, who looked out of the window, unconcerned.
"They haven't told us anything either," said Jimin.
"I don't care where we're going... The main thing is that they didn't send you somewhere alone and we're all together," was all Yoongi had to say and the others nodded with satisfaction after his words. I was happy too, but I missed Sora, I hadn't even been able to say goodbye to her properly because she was still asleep. At the airport, we boarded the charter plane, which was not unlike ours, but this time I was able to enjoy the benefits of being a passenger myself. I eyed our stewardess suspiciously, but she was a friendly woman in her mid-fifties, so there was no danger of Jungkook trying to join the Milehigh Club with her. So at least I could relax a little. This time I sat next to Taehyung, put my head on his shoulder and quickly fell asleep. Although I'd had bad experiences on airplanes, I slept surprisingly long and peacefully, as I was still a bit exhausted from the short night last night. Apparently I had even slept through the landing, because when I woke up, I was lying on a bed. Had we arrived at the hotel yet? And where were we anyway? As I sat up, I noticed that we seemed to be moving, which quickly made me think of a ship. Was this a cruise? Confused, I looked around and realized that I wasn't alone. Jungkook and Jimin were lying next to me, snuggled up together and sleeping. The room had a patio door, behind which I could see not only a railing, but also the blue sea with the reflecting sunshine. Without waking them, I opened the door and stepped out. A few meters away from me, I saw Hobi leaning against the railing, looking at the passing waves, then closing his eyes and holding his face to the breeze. He looked so beautiful, the way his skin shone in the sun, his gently curved eyelashes resting relaxed over his eyes, the peaceful expression on his face... it all made my heart beat faster immediately. I didn't want to disturb him, but the urge to snuggle up to him, to become part of this harmony, was overpowering, so I leaned against him, knowing that he had long since noticed my presence. Smiling, he put his arms around me, caught me between him and the railing and kissed my hairline.
"Isn't it lovely here? I've missed the sea so much." he confessed and I could only agree with him.
"To be honest, I miss our island... I dream so often about being back there." I told him and noticed how he pulled me closer to him.
"I think we're all like that... It was our home, we felt comfortable there..." he said and I nodded with a smile. It was true, if we hadn't been completely cut off, it would have been the perfect place to live. The pulling longing for this place that I felt in my chest could clearly be identified as homesickness. I leaned my head back against his chest, staring silently into the distance, before my heart suddenly skipped a beat as an island appeared and we got closer and closer. The moment I could see our plane, tears ran down my cheeks. We were home again...
