After Ghost had also joined us in the tent, far away from Jungkook, as he still didn't like him, we lowered the tarpaulin at the entrance so that we were protected from the wind, covered up and fell asleep snuggled up close together. It was now much colder than it had been a few days ago, although it was still over 20 degrees during the day, but at night the temperatures dropped rapidly. But we kept each other warm and if that was all winter had to offer on this island, then it was bearable. At least we didn't have to heat anything.

As we had all been drinking, we slept longer than planned the next morning, nobody had their cell phone with them as you couldn't charge it on the way and it didn't work otherwise anyway, so we didn't have an alarm clock. When I woke up and crawled out of the tent yawning to go and wash up, the sun was almost at the top of the sky and it was probably already past 11 o'clock. With my toothbrush, towel and a change of clothes and Ghost, who wouldn't leave my side, I set off towards the interior of the island to find the small stream. I didn't have to walk long before I suddenly found myself in a clearing in the woods, where I not only found the stream but also another small lake. I saw bushes and shrubs all around me and was totally surprised when I discovered blackberries, raspberries and elderberries. I was so happy about the addition to our menu when I noticed that the grass had grown tall and had grains that looked similar to wheat... we would be able to make flour. The thought of freshly baked bread immediately made me smile happily. The only problem was that we'd be traveling here for a day, then harvesting here and back again, which would be three day trips each time. But it was worth it.

I slowly waded into the freezing cold lake, dived in briefly, only to wash myself and brush my teeth, which I did in a shivering rush, only to come out chattering my teeth as quickly as possible, dry myself off and get dressed quickly. I didn't have a mirror with me, but I was pretty sure I had blue lips, so I just watched in shock as Jungkook and Taehyung walked towards the lake, throwing off their clothes as they ran and then jumping in as if the water was a pleasant 25 degrees... Namjoon, who came up behind them, looked at them with amusement, but came to me first.

"Have you seen all the plants? We should take everything we can carry from here." I said as I pointed in the direction of the bushes.

"And not only that, I'll take cuttings with me so that we can plant them here too," agreed Namjoon, who had discovered even more.

"This place is teeming with wild herbs, so if we dry them, we can season our meals better." he explained.

"Yay for herbal fish for a change, instead of lemon fish." I didn't even mean that ironically, even if I feared it had come across that way.

Namjoon now waded into the lake too and after they had all finished, we got the harvest bags and started to collect what we could carry. Back at the tent, we packed everything for the rest of the hike and were just about to leave when Taehyung ran to the beach again. Curious, we followed him and saw him writing "SOS other side of the island" with small shells and stones next to the fire pit.

"If the party people come here again... it could be our salvation," he explained. But secretly we all hoped that no one would ever read it...
