Chapter 4: Things To Think About

I stared at her, shocked at what she had said

"You broke up with your boyfriend?" I said standing up rubbing my forehead

"Look I don't expect you to dump your girlfriend for me, I just- I just wanted to tell you" Alessia said nervously

"Me and Emily have been great recently Alessia, why couldn't you have done it earlier" I sighed

"Because my relationship with my boyfriend was fine at that point" Alessia sighed

"Look I'm gonna leave, I hope you and Emily are happy" Alessia said walking out of my bedroom

I chased after her and pulled her into a hug

"I'm sorry Alessia, but I want to see how me and Emily work out" I said before pulling out

"Look I'll walk you home" I said grabbing her one of my coats

We stepped out of my front door, I put my hood up from my hoodie

"Do you want your coat?" Alessia asked

"No you keep it on" I said

We walked to hers, i I said goodbye and made my way home

As I got to my front door a car pulled up, I looked over and saw Emily and her mum in the car

Emily got out and said bye to her mum, so she wants to stay over I'm guessing

I waited for her as she walked down the drive

"Hurry or you'll get soaked" I laughed as I stood under the shelter

I let her in first and then stepped in after her, I pulled me hood down and took my jumper off as it was soaked through

I throw it into the dryer and ran up to my room to get a new jumper on and joggers

Emily followed me up and laid down on my bed, once changed I laid down on top of her and closed my eyes, relaxing into her

"Tired" she asked softly running her hand down my back

I mumbled a yes before pushing my head into her neck

"I saw you walking with Alessia when driving here, she had your coat on?" Emily asked

"Yeah she turned up at my house soaked so I gave her a jumper and joggers to wear then walked her home and gave her my coat" I shrugged

"Too generous, she'll keep those clothes" Emily said putting her hand under my jumper and running it up and down my spine

"Oh well, don't be jealous" I teased

"Why did she come here" Emily asked

"To tell me she broke up with her boyfriend"

"Aww really I thought they were a cute couple"

"The boy is a knob head em"

"She made the right decision I think" I added

I looked up at Emily, moving forward to place my lips on hers, she moved one of her hands to my cheek to direct the kiss better while I moved my hands to either side of her pushing myself up slightly

We pulled away,  I rested my head back down on her chest

"You know when I first met you I thought I'd be the big softie of the relationship but turns out it's you" Emily said moving her hands to my back again

"When I first met you I thought you were straight" I teased earning a slap from Emily

"Why do people always say that when I tell them I'm dating you" Emily sighed
