Chapter 25: Covid

(a/n even tho it's a huge time gap I just had to write it, obviously less, Alex and Lotte are still at college)

"We will be going into a lockdown, i know you'll be asking about living conditions, I'll answer them all to my best ability" coach said in the emergency meeting

I looked over at less and Lotte, both looking confused as each other

Lotte put her hand up as she had a question

"Can we go back to England?" She asked pointing to us three

Coach nodded his head before speaking

"Yes, you can go back to your home countries, it's completely up to you what you want to do, you can stay on campus or go home" coach said

He answered some more questions before we finished

Through the whole of the meeting I couldn't help but think where I was gonna live

Back at my mums old house in London?

With my older brother?

There was no chance I was gonna live with my dad

Stay here in the house while less and Lotte go home?

The drive home was filled with Lotte and less talking about the opportunity to go home and see there family for a little while

I sat quietly still deep in thought about what I was gonna do

"Excited to go home Alex?" Lotte asked

"I might just stay here" I shrugged

Alessia turned around and faced me

"What" she said shocked

"Stay in the warm weather" I said playing off the other reasons

We pulled up to the house, I was first out of the car, less following behind me

"What do you mean your staying here alex!" Less said as I walked up the stairs, Alessia following closely

"I mean I'm staying right here, in this house" I said back

"Why arnt you coming home?" Alessia said as we made it to my bedroom

"I haven't got a home less! This is the closest thing to home that I have" I snapped

"Don't be silly of course you do" Alessia said

"Great I'm being silly now, I want some time to myself" I said wanting her away from me now

"No Alex, you arnt avoiding this, we haven't got time for this" Alessia said being stubborn

"Avoiding what! I haven't got a home back in England! My mums fucking dead Alessia and I'm not living with my dad!" I shouted

Alessia's facial expressions soften, she made her way to me and wrapped her arms around my waist

"I'm sorry I didn't think about it properly" Alessia said softly

"It's okay" I said, taking a deep breath

"Come stay with me and my mum and dad" Alessia said softly

"I can't do that less, it's not fair on your family" i said

"Don't be silly, mum and dad miss you so much" Alessia said softly looking up at me

I crumbled as I looked into her eyes

"Okay fine" I sighed

I groaned and turned over, pulling Alessia closer to my body and shoving my head into her neck making her let out a soft giggle
