Chapter 45: Controllable

"When Charles and I were dating in high school he said somethings that have stuck with me" Alessia said as she picked at her nails

I sat down on the edge of the bed as she explained what she has to say

"What did he say?" I asked softly

"He was just comparing me to these girls he had seen on Instagram, they were very slim and he said why couldn't I be like them" Alessia said as she avoided eye contact

"I never liked Charles, you were way to good for him, you deserved someone so much better" i said shaking my head

I stood up and brought her into me, resting her head on my chest

"You know anything that he said about your appearance or judging you were wrong, your prefect less" I said with a soft smile

"You can be cheesy at times can't you" Alessia said smirking at me

I pulled her closer into me as I laughed

"It's going to take some time but I'm going to feel happy in my body again" Alessia said nodding against my chest

"I'll be there for you through the whole process" I said

"There you go again" Alessia said laughing

"Hey I'm being nice!" I said laughing as well

Alessia looked up at me and gave me a soft smile

"Thank you seriously" she said quietly

I nodded my head with a smile before placing a kiss onto her cheek

"Come on let's go find the girls" I said as I dragged her to the door

This is the first time I've seen Alessia walk around me with just a sports bra and shorts on

We were sat in her room, she had just come out of the shower as I was sat on the edge of her bed looking at my phone

"Stop starring" Alessia teased as she looked through her suitcase for a top, but in no rush to find one

"I'm not!" I protested as I carried on looking at her

Alessia turned round and caught me watching her

She walked over to me and stood in between my legs

"Not looking huh?" She teased as she moved her hand to my cheek, thumb stroking over my cheekbone

"Nope" I said looking up at her

Alessia laughed softly before leaning down and placing a kiss onto my lips

I moved my hands to her waist, I felt her tense for a second before relaxing knowing it was me

"You okay?" I asked as we parted for a second

Alessia nodded her head before pacing another kiss to my lips

There was a knock on the door which broke us apart

I groaned before pulling away

Alessia found a top and put it on before I answered the door

"How did I know you'd answer Alessia's door" ella said rolling her eyes with a smile

I laughed as Alessia walked up to the door

"You okay Tooney?" Alessia asked

"I was wondering if you wanted to come and relax on the sun beds before the sun sets?" Ella asked Alessia

Alessia looked at me for approval, even though she didn't need any, as I nodded my head with a smile

"Okay, are you okay to be on your own?" Alessia asked me as I placed my arm over her shoulder
