Chapter 8: End of year

"Emily and I are back together" I said

Alessia sighed and sat on one of my stairs

"I'm so sorry less, I feel so bad" I said

"Do you tho? If you did you wouldn't mess me about so much" Alessia snapped, I understood her reaction

"Because I like Emily" I sighed

Alessia scoffed and walked out of my house

I sighed and sat on my stairs, why didn't I think of her feelings?

(Present day)

"So are you taking Emily to prom?" One of her mates asked as Emily walked over to us

"Yeah hopefully" I laughed

"Hopefully what?" Emily asked walking over and laying down on me

"Nothing em" I smiled down at her and kissed her

"So are you ready for the fa cup final?" Emily asked me

Arsenal U16s had made it to the finals of the fa cup

We were gonna play against Man City u16s in a few days time

"Yeah, less stressed with exams done now" i said, feeling relaxed about the situation

"How are you and Russo?" Emily asked

Mine and Alessia's friendship is practically nonexistent at this point, I've caught up on all the school work so we stopped that weeks after Alessia found out about me and Emily. We put our stuff aside for arsenal but that's about it. We don't talk to each other anymore, she acts like she can't see me every time I'm near her.

I mean I don't blame her, I treated her like shit

"The usual" i shrugged

"Arsenal need you two to be okay for the final"

"Don't worry I'll get it sorted" I said smiling down at her

Since we finished our exams we didn't need to go to school, getting an early break then everyone else

Emily, her friends and I were at the park soaking up the warmth

I brought a ball down, since as a footballer if you ever want to a park it meant you'd bring a football

The football was laying by my feet as we all laid on the floor, trying to catch a tan

I had my top off and was using it to lay on the grass with

I soon got bored of just laying on the floor, being someone who always had to be moving

I got up and kicked my ball forward running around with it, there was a wall near us so I started to pass the ball against it using both feet

Emily came up as I was kicking it and took the ball off me trying to run away with it

She didn't get far as she couldn't dribble with the ball

I picked her up and throw her over my shoulder making her laughing and slap my back

"God your like messi em" I teased her for her football ability

I looked around the park as Emily carried on slapping my back telling me to put her down

I saw Alessia walking through the park, one headphone in and looking at me and Emily

"Russos over there, I'm gonna go chat with her about arsenal" i said putting Emily down and jogging up to Alessia

"Where's your top" she asked as I got to her
