Chapter 11: An Acted

Someone knocked on my bedroom door while I was playing on my Xbox

"Come in" I shouted

The door opened and Alessia walked in, shutting the door behind her

"Alright less?" I asked, normally she just walks straight into my room

She came and sat down on my bed and looked down at her hands

"Whatever has happened you can tell me less" I said sitting up and moving closer to her

"There's this girl" Alessia said before stopping

"Okay, take your time less" I said

"She likes me but I don't like her back" Alessia said making me confused

"Okay what's wrong about that?"

"She won't leave me alone" Alessia sighed

I stayed quite not knowing what to say

"I was hoping you would do something for me" Alessia said

I nodded

"Could you possibly act like my girlfriend for a few weeks and then once she leaves me alone you won't have to act anymore" Alessia asked

I thought about it for a second

"Yeah okay if she's making you uncomfortable then we can do that" I said nodding

Alessia pulled me into a hug

"Thank you Alex" she sighed

I rubbed her back before she pulled away

"That's all, thank you" she said before standing up and waking out

What have I gotten myself into?

It was later in the evening now, some of our teammates coming over to hang out and watch a movie, maybe go out on a walk or something afterwards

I walked downstairs once i heard our teammates arrive

I pulled each of them into a hug and said my hellos before walking to the kitchen and getting a drink

"Can you get me one as well babe?" Alessia said from the living room

I nodded with a smile

Does that mean the girl is in our house or is she doing the act in front of everyone?

I grabbed two bottles of water before walking over to the living room and sitting next to Alessia

I put my arm on the back of the sofa, behind Alessia and leaned into her for a second

"Is she here with us?" I whispered

Alessia nodded, I moved back a bit to make it less obvious we were talking, Alessia leaning into me and moving her head to rest against my chest

I moved my arm to rest over her shoulder while we watched the movie

"So when were you two together" Ava asked, one of our teammates

"Before moving here" I said

"Yeah dated in school, Alex took her to prom" Lotte said, she didn't know about our plan she was just playing along to help us

I knew we would have to explain to Lotte after everyone had left

Near the half way point of the movie we paused it so everyone could go to the toilet or get drinks

Most of us left the room only Ava and Alessia left in the room

Missing Alessia's pleading eyes for me to stay i went to go to the toilet
