Higher: The Score
"You know, I don't know why I brought him here. I should've killed him when I had the chance." Alfred says as I keep my hard gaze on Jeremiah in the cell.
"You did the right thing, Alfred." Dad tells him and Jeremiah waves at me.
"You say that. You didn't see what he did to Selina. Right. I better get to the hospital to meet Miles and the others."
"We'll stop by when we can."
"This isn't your fault, love." Alfred grips my shoulder as I keep my gaze on Jeremiah. "I know it. Bruce knows it. Selina knows it. You're gonna stop this. You always have." He squeezes my shoulder before walking off from the corner of my eye.
"Alfred." Harvey greets. "He couldn't have put a cap in that psycho, done the world a favor? Listen, kid-"
"Where are we?" I turn to him.
"Bomb squad's at the last site on the map. After they disarm the bomb, they're gonna put it in a warehouse with all the others. Also, the mayor called. He wants to lift the evacuation order."
"Tell him we're not doing anything until we have all the bombs locked away. And thank you for stopping the bomb last night."
"It's gonna be okay, kid." He grips my shoulder before walking off.
"Pardon me, Jim." Jeremiah speaks up and I clench my jaw and fists before heading over.
"Don't you all have work to do?" Dad follows me with Clark and the officers step away from the cell. "What is it?"
"I'd like to press charges against your daughter and Bruce Wayne's butler. I mean, just look at my face."
"I think you look great."
"And I'd like to speak to Bruce again. We couldn't really talk before, what with his girlfriend bleeding out all over him." Jeremiah adds and I unlock the cell before yanking him up, then harshly slamming him against the wall.
"You tried to prove you're better than your brother. But I'm still here." I whisper. "My city's still here. You're a failure, Jeremiah. Enjoy Arkham. Your brother did—after I gutted him for all of his followers to see."
"Put him in the box. Get him ready for transport." Dad orders.
"Bring me Bruce Wayne, and I'll tell you where the other bombs are." Jeremiah keeps his eyes on me.
"We have all your bombs."
"The maze bombs, yes. I mean the other ones. Brianna, Jim...as an engineer, you expect systems to fail, so...you build in redundancies. And I am a very good engineer."
