"Jim?" I enter the locker room. "Jim?" My voice cracks.
"Yeah." Jim replies.
"You okay?" Harvey asks.
"Fine." He picks his head up. "I'm fine." He whispers as he cups both sides of my face.
"Jim...I'm gonna have to ask for your gun." My voice strains.
"This virus is tearing the city apart. You need me. I can control this." Jim nods.
"That's why I'm not asking for your badge."
"Some of the guys are talking. These cops are gonna be watching you for the smallest sign." Oliver speaks up.
"And if you've got a gun, they'll be double jumpy. It's for your own protection." Harvey adds and Jim hands me his gun.
"Any word on your mom?" Jim wonders.
"No." I reply. "But the reason I couldn't...find you sooner was because she slipped me a meteor rock. She had my powers gone temporarily."
"It's not your fault." He pulls me into him. "And it's not your mother's either."
"I know." I sob.
"What happened after the bombing?" Margo questions.
"A mob of infected swarmed the clock tower. She disappeared in the chaos." Jim tells her.
"I don't get it. She went through all that effort to get you infected with the virus, then she just bolts?" Harvey shakes his head.
"She saw you were fighting it." Oliver realizes.
"She's waiting for me to give over to it." Jim nods.
"Prove her wrong, Jim." Margo urges and Jim nods as he looks at me.
"Don't worry, I'm not gonna give in. I won't leave you. Ever."
"I know." I sniffle.
"Where's Bruce?"

"Jim!" Lois hugs Jim as we enter. "Thank God you're okay."
"I'm not Lois." Jim pulls away.
"No." She looks at me. "No, no, no. Jim-"
"Maya slipped Brianna a meteor rock when she came into the station earlier. It breaks off her powers. I had to do it. But I'm fighting it, I won't give in."
