Fresh Azimiz: Bow Wow
"Oakland, California." Clark says as I listen in from the top of the barn.
"Local authorities determined it was made by a shooting star, but that was just wishful thinking. Sorry. It impacted six weeks ago, right around the time you and Ghost fell out of the Phantom Zone. It gets worse. He's already killed once. Two boys went missing on the site of the crater. All they found were human ashes and a basketball." Chloe informs.
"Sounds like heat vision."
"Not unless your heat vision comes with a radiation setting." Miles comments. "The ashes were off the Geiger charts, and the next day, the nuclear facilities twenty miles away were hit."
"Any idea why the Zoner would be there?" Clark questions.
"Well, aside from giving the five researchers a premature cremation, the radioactive material that they'd been working with was sucked dry." Chloe tells him.
"It's almost like he was feeding off it. We need to check all the plants in the area."
"Hello? Um, have you met me? There have been a half a dozen incidents across the continent. The most recent one was just outside of Metropolis."
"Chloe, these attacks form a straight line."
"Headed directly towards you." Miles inquires.
"Guys." Clark pleads.
"We'll make a list of all the possible sites within a 100-mile radius."
"I'll call you." Chloe adds.
"Thanks." Clark tells them. "Have you guys spoken to Brianna?"
"She's in Gotham at Bruce's. Still finding out who hired Malone." Miles lies for me. "She's okay, Clark. She's okay." He nods before leaving with Chloe and I hear faint rustling.
Chloe and Miles leave before I hop down from the top of the barn. I steadily land on my feet before looking around.
"Hey." I hear Clark say and I turn, seeing him walk towards me through my mask.
"Hello, Ghost." Raya now walks over to us.
"Raya?" Clark questions.
"Hello, Kal-El."
"I was afraid I'd never see you again. I'm sorry. We didn't wanna leave you in the Phantom Zone."
"You had no choice. It's okay, Kal-El. And if it wasn't for you, I would have never escaped. I would have never seen all this. It's more beautiful than the world your father described."
"How'd you find us?"
"I hear from the papers you have fought a giant lizard with your companion known as Spider-Man. Are you two the only ones who have these abilities?" Raya asks and I don't answer. "Fair enough." She chuckles. "Your father told me about the family he had chosen for you, about Smallville. It must have been hard growing up here by yourself."
