"I know, I'm cold." I lay on his chest with my eyes closed, sensing his stare. "That place was...something else. I can't seem to get warm." My teeth slightly chatter and he tightens his arm around me. "I missed you." I whisper before sighing and I curl my fist under my chin. "So much." I chastely kiss his chest with my eyes still closed.

"Me too." Clark kisses my head. "You have no idea how much." He covers us more with the blanket.

"I think I have a pretty good idea." I kiss his jaw a few times before placing my head back on his chest.

"When did you know?" I feel him softly rub my arm with his thumb.

"First day I moved here. When I saw Lex's car on the bridge. Miles told me what happened. And then on my way home...I just had a feeling." I sniffle. "And then he told me about the meteor shower you guys had in '89. Then I saw you with that kid, Jeremy. It all just made sense, but, I didn't care about that. I just...wanted you to be okay." I kiss his chest once more and open my eyes to meet his stare on me.

"All these years...all we've been through, I always wondered how the people who were coming after me suddenly backed off."

"Now you know." I start tracing shapes on his chest before sniffling again. "But just looking back, before I got my powers, it just feels so unfamiliar to me. Like me, being human, being just Brianna Brady, it's weird. It was so long ago." I kiss his chest again. "I know you have a lot of questions, and I'll answer them. So we'll start off with the root of it all—do you remember Van McNulty?"

"I think about that he did to you everyday."

"Well maybe I can put your mind to rest." I pick my head up. "He was after you." I reveal. "But since I was able to just absorb meteor rock back then, I acted like I was sick so he would focus on me, and not you. And then he shot me when I was helping your dad out on the farm. And then when I came back, I took him down. Same with Perry White. He suspected you, so, I worked my magic, steered him away. Told him I was shot with a kryptonite bullet and he was focused on me. And with Lex in the asylum, apparently I was known for morphing into different people. Different people meaning you. So, I used that to break Lex out. Made him think I had powers before his memory was erased. And those files you asked me about when your mom and Lionel were held captive. There was a file on you, and I burned it. Burned the rest of them too. And I found the disc to your ship. I gave it to your mom. And you were okay." I nod and in a swift movement, he picks me up and sets me on his lap.

He kisses me and I wrap my arms around his neck. He places his hand on the back of my head and kisses me more deeply. I now cup both sides of his face and his hands roam my back. He now lays me on the bed before getting in between legs. I see his eyes flash orange before he turns away. I gently turn his head back and I see the orange flash in his eyes soon disappear.
