"It's beautiful." Bruce looks at the spider through the vial.
"Knows how to bite though." I tell him.
"Where did it bite you?"
"Here." I push my hair to the side and I turn my back to him. "Bite's probably gone, right?"
"Yeah, I don't see anything. When did it happen?"
"Three years ago. We were breaking Karen out of Blackgate. I was hiding under the train station and it just...happened. How long have you known?"
"The way I saw you move when you went after Galavan at the police station. I've never seen you do that before. And the papers about Ghost fighting the Lizard in New York started spreading around. I wasn't fully sure yet, but then I saw you in action a few times. It was incredible. You're incredible."
"Here." I take out a small vial that contains the last of the symbiote.
"What is it?"
"It's called a symbiote. It was put in a rock during a small meteor crash in Smallville. It needs to bond with a host in order to survive. It changes a person, making them very aggressive. And if the host is very weak, it could take them over completely."
"Did it..."
"Yeah, it happened to me." I nod. "Uh, after I broke up with Clark. I was in a lot of pain and it took me over in my sleep. But Jim and the others helped me beat it."
"What's its weakness?"
"Noise. Noise irritates it. That's how I got the suit off."
"It makes a suit?"
"Yeah. An all black version of my suit."
"Do you have a weakness?"
"Meteor rock." I nod. "When I'm near it, I don't have my powers anymore. And when I touch it, it's like my whole body is on fire. I'm sorry I didn't tell you about me sooner, I just did want anybody coming after you because you knew my secret. I'll always protect you, Bruce. I would never put you in danger. Especially on the account of me."
"I know, Brianna." Bruce grabs my hands. "I will always protect you too. Your secret will stay with me as long as I live. And I will then take it to my grave. In the funhouse, Jerome said I fought like a girl. And when I finally took him down to the ground, I told him that the woman who taught me how to fight like a tiger was gonna make him pay. Again. And you did. And I'm so proud of you, Brianna. And I wanna thank you for helping me become the man that I am today. If it weren't for you, I wouldn't know where I would be."
"You would be exactly who you are today. Because I know Alfred would keep pushing you to be your best self. He always has." I grin.
"I'm very sorry about Lana. She sent me and Alfred letters, we found them in our mailbox a few weeks ago."
