the sailing vessel

When Kiwáni awoke the next morning, the whole camp was in disarray. Tantalus had found out about Percy, Annabeth, and Tyson's 'sudden' disappearance, and was not happy with being undermined by children. He had already made the announcement that the three had exiled from the camp, and were to be forcibly removed if they ever returned. Something that he and Mr D. agreed fully on. So much for Lee's help on the situation.

The daughter of Apollo ignored the stares as she made her way to the Ares cabin. She tugged at her necklaces anxiously, wanting the judgmental eyes off of her. There were whispers circling around, that she had helped them sneak out of camp. That was true, of course, but admitting that would get her a lot more trouble than she wanted.

She carefully stepped through the land mines planted underneath the ground, and made her way up the Ares cabin steps. Before she could knock, the door was blown open by an angry Mark. He opened his mouth, presumably to yell at her to go away, but once he realized who was on the other side of the door his eyes widened, and he motioned for her to come in.

Kiwáni stepped in, and made her way to her friend, who was currently throwing everything she could think of into a large camo duffle bag. Clarisse looked up, and her normally blazing eyes softened almost in relief.

"I thought you might have left with them," she mumbled.

The daughter of Apollo shook her head, and carefully sat down on her friend's unmade bed. She messed at the blanket beneath her, repeatedly smoothing out the fleece to show the iconic superhero.
