the island of CirceWhen Kiwáni opened her eyes, she was met by a bright light. The girl immediately shut them, and let out a groan of disapproval. A towel was placed over her eyes to block the bright light.
"Thank you," the girl muttered.
"You're welcome," an unknown voice replied.
Kiwáni ripped the towel off of her face, and rubbed her eyes to remove the spots. Just as she reached for her sabre, she realized she felt a lot better than a person with broken bones should. And that her sabre was no where to be found, along with her bow.
"My arm..." she trailed off.
The unknown voice, which now Kiwáni could see was a young black-haired girl, eased her back into the cot she was lying on. "You're healed. C.C. made it so."
"C.C.?" the daughter of Apollo questioned.
The other girl nodded. "You needed to heal before you could try out any of the treatments here."
Kiwáni nodded unsurely, and sat back up in the bed at the protest of the girl. "I'm sorry, and everything,
but I've got to go. My friends...""What friends?" the girl responded, and followed the daughter of Apollo out the makeshift infirmary door, and onto the white sands of a beautiful beach.
"My friends, they were in the water with me when... well I don't really what happened. I kind of blacked out."
The black-haired girl smiled sympathetically, and placed her hand on Kiwáni's shoulder. "When we found you on tne beach, you were alone. I'm sorry,
but your friends are not here."
