escape the islandTyson's sudden reappearance only slightly raised Kiwáni's mood. She was instead entirely focused on Annabeth, and how her friend was breathing a lot shallower than normal.
"Shhhh, you're okay," the girl mumbled to herself, as she kept heavy pressure on the bleeding gash on Annabeth's forehead. The blood was not stopping, and the daughter of Apollo had tried all the hymns she knew.
"You're okay. You're okay. Please, gods, be okay."
Kiwáni looked up to Percy, Grover and Clarisse, with tears in her eyes. "It's not stopping!"
Percy's eyes hardened, and looked towards the piranha sheep surrounding the young Cyclops. "Tyson, the Fleece. Can you get it to me?"
"Which one?"
"In the tree!" the son of Poseidon clarified. "The gold one!"
"Oh. Pretty. Yes."
Tyson started to climb the hill, making careful steps not to step on the sheep. Unlike with the deer, the piranha sheep did not pick at his skin or bite, only rubbing their heads affectionately. Tyson grabbed the Fleece from the branch, and immediately after untangling it, the large tree began to yellow. Once it was fully in the young Cyclops's hand, Percy began to wave his arms.
"No time! Throw it!"
Percy caught the Golden Fleece with a grunt, stumbling a little from the weight. He quickly spread it over Annabeth, gently pulling Kiwáni away from their friend. The son of Poseidon tightly gripped the older girl's hands, not caring for the blood now smearing across his skin.
