the oracle's handKiwáni was awoken by a loud pounding at her cabin door, disturbing her and the rest of her siblings. Having stayed up late singing some impromptu karaoke, the Apollo children were in no mood to be woken up early.
"Too early," Lee groaned, as he smushed another pillow onto his head.
"I swear to the gods, I'm gonna kill whoever is at the door," warned Michael, as he grumpily pulled the covers over his head.
"Make it stop," whined Will, throwing a pillow in the door's direction. Kiwáni giggled as it bounced off the wall, and into a stack of CDs.
The girl threw her blanket on top of her head, wrapping the rest around her body snuggly. Her plan was to answer the door, and then hop right back into her bed.
Trudging over to the door, Kiwáni sleepily opened the door, rubbing at her eyes to get rid of the slight blurriness. "You rang?"
"I've got to tell you something!"
The daughter of Apollo looked up to see a stressed looking Percy, running around in what seemed to be starfish themed pajama pants and his winter coat. His hair was all over the place, his curls askew and frazzled, another sign he had just woken up. She tried to hide her smile, but it slid over her face anyway.
"Cute pants."
Percy looked down, as if he could not remember what he was wearing. Realizing his attire, he rolled his eyes. "Can I come inside? It's cold out here."
