Percy did not really react to that information, blinking wildly. "Um... okay."

Kiwáni on the other hand, gasped loudly and bent down to pick up her bow. Frantically pushing the imaginary hairs out of her face, the girl scrambled to look somewhat presentable.

But that was nothing compared to Grover. The satyr gasped, knelt into the snow and started yammering, "Thank you, Lady Artemis! You're so... you're so... Wow!"

"Get up, goat boy!" Thalia snapped. "We have other things to worry about. Annabeth is gone!"

"Whoa," Bianca di Angelo said, looking around with her eyes wide with fright. "Hold up. Time out."

Everybody looked at her. She pointed her finger at everyone, pulling her brother closer into her side. "Who are you people?"

Artemis's expression softened. "It might be a better question, my dear girl, to ask who are you? Who are your parents?"

Bianca nervously looked around, and grabbed Nico's hand, pulling the small boy behind her as if to protect him from the multiple peering eyes. "We're orphans."

Kiwáni could not help but feel sorry for the girl. She was being put on the spot, and being thrust into a world she had no idea existed. And on top of that, no one was listening to her.

"You are a half-blood," the Hunter Kiwáni now knew was named Zoë stated. She stated it as if it was a fact that even Bianca, should know.
