SoyalWhen the festivities ended on Olympus, Kiwáni was made aware she could finally go home. That was, until she checked the flight schedule going to Arizona. Apparently, there was a slight snowstorm running through New York at the moment. It had landed all the planes at the moment, and stalling the ones previously planned. It looked like she was stuck in New York, for an undisclosed amount of time.
Enough time to completely miss all Soyal celebrations back home.
Kiwáni did not say anything on her way back to camp, instead taking the time to look out the window and watch the snow fall onto the road. The realization she was missing her favorite holiday had put a blocker on her mood.
That, and the fact she had a god whispering in her head.
Seeing Half Blood Hill covered in snow was a good mix up on what she normally saw when she arrived at camp. As she walked across the now snow-covered grass, the sparkling powder shimmered slightly under the sun. And the pine tree that stood tall at the very top of the hill seemed as alive as ever, causing the daughter of Apollo to let out a small smile. She really would miss the daughter of Zeus.
Chiron was there to greet the four of them with warm cups of hot chocolate, and to usher them into the Big House. It seemed like there was something important to talk about.
As Kiwáni stepped into the council room, her eyes landed on Lee Fletcher, who was trying in vain to stop Travis Stoll from picking off the petals of Katie Gardener's crocus flower. The girl smiled, and moved towards her brother, wrapping her hands around the older boy's eyes.
