The two leapt at each other and Zelus tried to stab him, but Nate kicked him in the stomach. They both fell out of the air and Bifrost energy seemed to seep out of every pore on Nate's body. Heimdall's son swung a powerful hook punch to Zelus' jaw which made him stagger back. Nate spun around and created two Bifrost whips to swing at Zelus that only lasted for a split second. Two thin cuts formed on Zelus' chest, but before he could even begin bleeding, Nate attacked again. His Bifrost fist turned into a spiked wrecking ball and he swung it down onto his opponent. Zelus went flying backwards and Nate retracted the ball back into an arm. Zelus looked up and dove away from a hook punch before rolling away from a stomp down at his head. Once Zelus got up, Nate slammed his shoulder into him with everything he had. He stumbled back and Nate finished the combination with a spinning back kick.
"Yes, good! Now, you are getting it!" Zelus told him as he wiped off his stomach from Nate;'s attack "But do not get too cocky. Remember, you are still just a half breed. Every bit as weak as the mortal you came out of."
"I'm the best of all three of them personified," Nate retorted "But now I'll use both my fathers' worsts... to kill you."
"Then come, show me what a true monster looks like!"
Zelus charged toward Nate and tried to elbow him in the nose, but the half breed simply slapped him back with the Bifrost hand. Before Zelus could regain his balance, Nate heel kicked him in the chest, then followed up with a hook punch across the jaw again. While Zelus was stunned, Nate spun around and swung a crescent kick across the Minor God's jaw. When he touched down, he spun around on one foot, and thrust his heel into Zelus' stomach. This attack sent Zeus' agent flying back and Nate jumped toward him again. He tried to deliver a flying hook punch, but Zelus slammed his shoulder into Nate's sternum to deflect the attack. Nate stumbled back and when Zelus charged him, the Demigod fell backwards. He rolled underneath Zelus and got up behind the Minor God after he had tried to tackle Nate. Zelus turned and grinned, then created a bunch of spears, and began throwing them at Nate.
"Pointy sticks?" Nate asked mockingly as he used World Lag to dodge and duck around them all.
"You are an observant one," Zelus replied back, in an equally mocking tone.
"What you got after this? Some of Athena's children soldiers?"
"A bigger pointy stick!" Nate looked up as Zelus threw a scythe down at him.
Nate casually caught it and asked "Did you get this from Hayden or you get Hephaestus to make it for you?" He tossed the weapon back and Zelus knocked it away.
As it stabbed itself into the wall, Nate leapt up, and managed to land a left hook to Zelus' nose. Nate swung his Bifrost hand up and slammed its palm up into Zelus' chin. He stepped back and Nate jumped while spinning. He landed on his fist, spun around on it, and slammed both feet into Zelus' chest. At this point, the Minor God was pressed against the wall and Nate began to pelt him with punches.
Zelus elbowed Nate in the top of the head to stop him while yelling "Enough of this!" Nate fell to his hands and knees so Zelus took advantage of this by kicking him in the stomach.
He went flying backwards and bounced over several tables before landing in a crater in the floor. Zelus took a few steps off the wall before jumping toward Nate again. He looked up and yelped for a split second as he backrolled away from his opponent. Zelus landed right in front of Nate, who was still on his knees, and attacked the younger divine being before he could get up.
"My guy, would you please just calm down?" Nate asked as he blocked a hook punch and swept Zelus off his feet "What're the others doing right now?" He got up and bounced around while chuckling a little "Bet they're already on the boat and now they'll be heading for the Nine Realms."
"And you have no problem not being with them?" Zelus asked as he got back up to his feet.
"Eh, if I'm pointless to their story now, why should I intrude? Come on, let's do this."
Zelus grinned and leapt up into the air, preparing a crushing elbow strike. Nate scoffed and simply side stepped him, letting the Minor God crash down onto the floor. With his Bifrost arm, he pulled him up by the neck, then supercharged his left first with Bifrost as well. He tossed Zelus back up into the air and got behind him before uppercutting him in the back. He went flying forward and Nate walked after him.
Zelus shook his head as he got back up, then he tried to throw an axe at Nate, but he caught it, and told the Minor God "Stop with the big pointy sticks. You can have this back." He spun around and threw the axe back to Zelus.
He leaned away the weapon and it cut a light down, sending sparks down to all around them. The electrical sparks didn't do anything to either combatant except singe their clothes. That was until a spark flew into the fire detector. A loud ringing began to play through the entire cafeteria and fire stoppers began dropping water from the ceiling. Now, the ground around them was completely electrified, so they had to continue the fight while staying on the tables.
"Uh... phase two I guess," Nate quipped, but he was clearly confused.
Zelus jumped at him and tried to stab him with another spear, but Nate simply slapped him back. Zelus leapt back to another table, still smiling at the fact that he finally had a decent opponent. Nate watched him leap up into the air and throw the spear down at the electrified floor. It seemed to redirect the electricity up at Nate somehow and he leapt away before he was shocked. Nate landed on another table and watched the lightning burn another table to a crisp. Zelus jumped onto the table in front of Nate and reflexively, the Demigod jumped forward, and kicked him in the stomach. Zelus staggered back for a second from the power behind the attack, then Nate jab punched him in the nose. Zelus regained his balance and shook his head to get his wits back about him, then swung a crushing hook punch down at Nate's head. The Demigod crossed his arms over his head to block his opponent's incoming attack and he managed to stop it, but the attack still threw him back. Nate used a few Bifrost bursts to stop himself from falling into the electrified water, then landed on a table pushed up against a wall. He got up and ducked under another hook punch from Zelus that broke through the wall so easily that it barely appeared to be there.
"Everything is coming down around us," Nate pointed out as he looked up at the ceiling.
He looked back to Zelus and side thrust kicked him in the chest, which sent him flying. Nate ran over two tables, with the speed he was moving he barely needed to jump as he crossed from table to table. He leapt up into the air and swung his Bifrost fist at Zelus' head, but he rolled away and let Nate's arm burn through the table. He looked up and Zelus brought another axe down at his head, but of course, the faster warrior dove away from the God's attack. With his Bifrost hand, he grabbed the edge of the table. He swung himself behind Zelus and thrust both feet into his back. As Zelus stumbled and struggled to keep his balance on the table, Nate got back to his feet. He leapt at Zelus and tried to attack his back again, but the Minor God tossed him back just before he could reach him. He turned and rushed Nate, but the smaller God back hand sprung to the closest table.
"Stop running, fight me!" Zelus told him.
"You? I've got no quarrel with you."
"That so? Who do you have issue with?"
"The one who killed my friend. The one who's the reason we all got into this mess!"
Nate was about to run at him again when a spark shot up into his face which distracted him, so Zelus retreated to the lights on the ceiling while telling him "Long have I dreamed of my perfect battle. It was always drenched in the blood of both and engulfed in flames. Will you give me that?"
"You came to Tracey's house, hurt my friends!" Nate told him as he leapt up and knocked him back down onto the tables.
"Then let your hate consume me, take revenge and give me what I have always wanted!"
"You wanna die?" Nate asked as he swung a hook punch across Zelus's jaw "Then here's a thought..." With the momentum of the punch, he spun around, and delivered a savage hook kick to the side of his neck "Just give up!" He leapt up and kicked him with both feet simultaneously, knocking both combatants down onto their back.
"I want my end to be worthy of a warrior such as myself!" He snapped back at Nate as he got up and shoulder bashed the young Demigod "Weakness is not what will claim me." He used another spear and shocked Nate with some of the electrified water, which paralyzed him for a split second "If you want me to die, then give it your all!" Nate shook off the shock, then got low, and uppercut Zelus in the chin, sending him flying.
He landed on a far away table and Nate launched himself at him. Zelus groaned as he looked up while laying on his back and Nate landed on top of him! He let a Bifrost explosion erupt out of his body which did extra damage. The table collapsed underneath them and Nate got up off of Zelus. He grabbed him by the throat with his Bifrost arm and threw him up to the ceiling. When he began to fall back to the floor, Nate grabbed him by the throat, and choke slammed him against the wall furthest from them. He leapt back and when Zelus got back up, he sent a beam of Bifrost energy at his enemy, sending him flying into the kitchen. Nate used his Bifrost armor and walked through the sparks falling all around him. Zelus stood back up to his feet and watched his rival walking through the electric sparks falling all over him.
"You are amazing," Zelus muttered as Nate got within range, but then he grabbed the Demigod, and slammed his head against the wall "But you are still holding yourself back." He grabbed him by the neck and top of the head "I guess, you were not the one I was waiting for. What a shame." He began to crush Nate's skull in his grip... until Nate began to stop holding himself back "What is this...?" Nate used Bifrost tendrils to pry his hands off of him "Now, this is more like it!" Nate began to lift him up into the air, but Zelus wasn't going to go down easy.
He created another spear and threw it into one of the gas tanks that were used to fuel the ovens. Nate looked over and his crimson eyes widened for a split second before they were both thrown away. Somehow, the explosion and flames engulfed everything flammable and they both landed in the middle of the cafeteria. Zelus jumped and grabbed a spear and shield as he watched Nate get back up.
When he did, the Demigod looked around, and growled "Welp, guess you got your wish. An epic battle drenched in fire and blood, or whatever."
The two ran at each other through the flames and Zelus hook punched Nate in the nose. Nate was almost knocked down to his knees, but he managed to stay balanced on a single foot. When he regained full control, he put his foot back down, and slammed his palm into Zelus' chest. He stumbled backwards and fell into a flame, but since he was a God, it did very little damage. He pushed himself back up and when Nate jumped at him again, he was met with a shoulder in his nose. He threw another spear at Nate, but he rolled away from the attack, hissing a little as he rolled through a fire. He looked back at the jacket he was wearing and threw it off before his skin and hair were engulfed in flames. When he looked back at Zelus, he yelped, and ducked under a swing to his head from a massive axe. He got up and Zelus spun around to attack him again, so Nate used his Bifrost arm to block the axe's blade. He pushed Zelus' massive battle axe up toward the ceiling... only to then just barely dodge downward vertical swing from the axe. As he leapt back, the blade cut through his shirt and some flesh, drawing a long, deep wound right between his lungs.
"Augh! Damn it!" Nate groaned as he landed and looked down at his chest "Seriously, what is your problem? The Hel do you want?"
"I want to show the mortals all over this world what their ends should be!" Zelus explained while attacking him again.
"You're just a little man!" Nate told Zelus as he rolled under a flying stab.
He glared back at Nate and threw his electrified spear at the disrespectful Demigod. Nate jumped away from the attack and watched as an electrified explosion shot out of the tip. He looked back up to Zelus and ducked under a hook punch. He got back up and jab punched him in the nose with the Bifrost fist. Zelus shook his head and wiped the golden ichor from his nose. He flicked it into the fire, then grabbed Nate by the throat and lifted him up into the air. While he held Nate, he punched him in the chest, which sent him flying into the wall again. He got off of the wall and chuckled while wiping some blood from his nose. He looked back at Zelus and engulfed himself in crimson Bifrost armor. He cracked his neck, then charged at full speed toward his opponent. He body slammed Zelus and grabbed him before he hit the floor. He threw him up into the air, then turned the armor into a blast from his Bifrost palm. Zelus went flying and slammed down onto the ground at the furthest end of the cafeteria from Nate.
"I really hope you're enjoying this," Nate told Zelus as he stalked toward him "'Cause this won't end well for you."
"Of course it will," Zelus replied as he got back up "I study every potential rival..." He created another giant axe and prepared to throw it.
"Oh yeah?" Nate asked as the axe began to fly end over end toward him "What'd you find out about me?" He caught it in his Bifrost hand and threw it back at Zelus.
"You are deadly, accurate, but vulnerable in your mental state," Zelus told him as he slapped the axe away.
"I'm really getting tired of you Olympians calling me crazy," Nate groaned.
He leapt at Zelus and delivered a crushing punch to his nose, nearly breaking it. Before Zelus could recover from the attack, Nate blasted him through the wall again, sending him flying out to the dock! Nate ran out to him and grabbed him by the throat, looked around for the ship, and slammed his current focus on the wood. Nate stepped on his throat and looked around at all the boats that had departed semi recently. Once he found his friends, he decided to put his focus back on the God at his feet.
"Okay, you know what?" He took his foot off of Zelus' throat and pulled him up by his toga "Up."
He hook punched him across the jaw with his Bifrost fist and followed it up with a spinning hook kick. Zelus grabbed his foot and pushed him back, but he didn't have the speed to attack Nate while his back was on the dock. The younger divine being rolled up to his feet, then emitted another Bifrost explosion from his core with a yell. Zelus was thrown over the dock and Nate slowly walked toward him, the length of the battle finally catching up with him. He was about to reach down and pull Zelus up when he stabbed his biological hand with another spear!
"Augh! Zelus, you sack of crap! That's my normal hand!" He pulled his hand out, grabbed Zelus by his long white hair, and hurled him back onto the dock "Fuck it, let's end this, you twat!"
The two charged each other again and Nate swung an overhand cross punch at Zelus' nose with the Bifrost fist. He blocked with a shield and pushed Nate back before advancing himself. He was about to attack Nate again, but he turned his fist into a giant spiked ball, and swung it down at Zelus. The Minor God dove and rolled away from the attack, but couldn't avoid Nate's next two hook punches. He shook the two attacks off and stabbed Nate through the leg and the right shoulder! For a normal person, this would've ended the fight, and for most Demigods this would've ended the fight. But Nate wasn't like every other Demigod. The fight was seemingly what fueled him, so he used his super healing ability to continue the brutal brawl. He let out a yell and backhand slapped Zelus across the face with his Bifrost hand. He began barraging Zelus with punches until he fell on his back again. When he did, Nate got on top of the Minor God, and began beating his fists into his face over, and over, and over again. After about fifteen seconds, he got up, and picked Zelus up before slamming him back down onto the dock. He was about to start pummeling him again when he looked up to the ship again. He looked down at Zelus, grinned with his head tilted, then threw him toward the ship.
"So... we're just leaving Nate?" Mikayla asked as they continued sailing to Norway.
"Eh, it is safe to assume he can figure out a way to get-" Zelus suddenly came crashing down in front of Beth before she could finish her sentence "Oh, what in the fuck!?" Nate landed next to Zelus and walked around to look down into his eyes "Nate, give him back." He looked over at Beth and groaned while rolling his eyes.
"Fine." He grabbed him and held him up again "Begone, Zelus. Back to Olympus with you." He spun around and chucked him in... some direction he assumed to be where Mount Olympus was "Now... where we goin'?"
