RJ Caswen: My Heart Will Go On Pt. 4

Note: In this chapter, I'm gonna write Ricky's pregnancy as short updates, and get to the part where he gives birth.

*eight months later*

It had been eight months since Ricky and EJ found out about Ricky's pregnancy, and they couldn't be more excited about being dads.

A few days after finding out and telling the twins and Ashlyn, Ricky, EJ and the kids went to Mike's for the weekend. Although, Lynne was there at the time. Ricky and EJ were confused while the kids were excited to see their grandmother after a year. While Mike looked out for the twins, Ricky and EJ were talking to Lynne. She told her son she regretted about not accepting for who he was and for not being there for him after he came out to her. Ricky told his mother on how hurt he was when they stopped talking to each other, and how he moved on now that he was with EJ, and he was happy. When Ricky and EJ announced that Ricky was pregnant, Lynne was surprised she was going to be a grandmother all over again since her son and Chloe had the twins. After seeking into forgiveness and receiving support from Lynne who vowed to be a better mother for her son from then on, Ricky was pleased to have her in his life again.

Two months later, Ricky and EJ announced the pregnancy to their loved ones when they went to see a few friends and their old drama teacher, Miss Jenn in person and Facetimed the others in between times after their doctors appointment for Ricky's twelve-week ultrasound for the baby's heartbeat. They even showed off the sonogram, and everyone was happy for the couple.

A couple weeks after telling everyone, EJ's parents showed up unannounced at his and Ricky's home. EJ was still angry at his parents when they couldn't accept him for coming out after he called off his wedding to Lily. Cash and his wife explained themselves to him about how they had regretted about not accepting their son as a bisexual man and they apologized for not being there for him when they could have helped him but they didn't. EJ was unsure about forgiving his mom and dad for that before telling them that Ricky was pregnant. The moment they found out they were about to become grandparents, Cash and Mrs. Caswell pleaded EJ for a second chance by letting be there for son and Ricky, and even Mikey and Olive, for the sake of their future grandchild. EJ searched into his heart and forgave his parents as they welcomed him back in open arms. Cash and Mrs. Caswell also apologized to Ricky if they were ever so harsh to him and made him and the twins feel welcome into the Caswell side of the family.

Shortly after having a heart-to-heart with his parents, EJ made a trip to New York to make things right with Lily since breaking off the engagement. EJ explained everything and apologized to Lily, and he talked about Ricky's pregnancy and how they were both excited. After having it said and done, Lily wasn't angry at her ex-fiance anymore as she explained to him about how horrible she was to him and had some time to think things over. Lily, as well, apologized to EJ about the times she was monstrous to him and to anyone else she treated in the same way. Lily also congratulated EJ on him and Ricky becoming dads together, and mentioned that she had a new love life, and EJ was happy for her. After the apologies and forgiveness, EJ and Lily remained to each other as friends.

As months passed, the pregnancy was coming to an end as Ricky and EJ couldn't be any more excited about meeting their little one, and Mikey and Olive were excited about their new little sibling.

*beginning of Ricky's labor*

It was Ricky and EJ's second-year anniversary, and they had recently taken time off of work and they both asked Ashlyn and Maddox to watch the twins for the night as they had wanted to spend a nice evening at home before the baby could come. While EJ was in the kitchen cooking dinner, Ricky was relaxing until he started to feel cramps in between. He felt the baby was preparing to make an appearance at any time now.

During their anniversary dinner, EJ was feeling kind of worried for Ricky as he continued to feel small pains, but he tried his best to shake it off a little. Before they were about to dive into dessert, EJ had a small surprise for Ricky since they were about to be fathers soon.
