Blake before had created a scorpion that had stung Pouf somewhere near his neck.
The poison was just beginning to take effect!

Before Pouf could even reach his targets, his eyes began to close. He was losing consciousness.
His heart was beating even slower and slower. And then-
He collapsed on the ground.
Pouf was no more.

You and Ruby had managed to get Meruem and Komugi together.
Komugi: Dear Leader, it feels like it's been forever.
Meruem: Yes.
Komugi: Did you save me after I was-
