The rest of the day went ok. I ate lunch alone. I looked for Ethan but didn't see him. It's finally time to leave. I walk towards the door and hear my name being called.
"Dahlia, hey I was wondering if I could get your number, maybe?" I turn to see Ethan. On the first day, I'm not anything special. It's too soon, I'm not ready anyway.
"Umm yeah sure, here's my phone just put your number in." I smile at him and he gives me a half smile back before taking my phone. How is this happening?
