Third Person POV

Lara's legs were crossed as she held a book in one hand and a glass of blood in the other. She'd occasionally sip the blood as her eyes raked across the page. Geneve was being briefed on information when foreign footsteps were heard. Geneve smirked and crossed her arms as two individuals entered. A middle aged man and his young daughter. The girl couldn't be older than 12.

"Ahh, seems we were summoned." His Australian accent ran out. "And to think we didn't greet the Mother Superior upon her arrival." He took Geneve's hand and gave it a gentle kiss.

"Michael, it has been a while." Geneve smiled. "So long that I haven't seen the newest addition." Her eyes turned to the young girl. "Who is she?"

 "Who is she?"

"This is Delta." Michael placed a hand on the girl's back. "My daughter."

Delta

"Nice to meet you, Mother Superior." The girl smiled and lowered her head in respect.

"The Prime Minister of the Australian vampires. You've done well to ensure complete control over the coven." Michael bashfully looked down at the praise. "You've done much better than the other nobles."

"What?" Michael was aghast. "Whatever do you mean?"

"Russia had to be stronghold into submission. The American vampires were reminded of their place in the world."

"The Peugeots and Romanovs should know their expectations. And to fall below them?" Michael scoffed in disbelief. "Embarrassing."

"My son, the late King, handpicked them to govern the most coveted and important territories. And for them to disrespect his memory like that?" Geneve was fuming. "Laughable."

"I apologize on behalf of my other nobles, your grace." He lowered his head, resulting in Delta mimicking him. "If there is anything I can do to ease your stay and lessen the emotional burden you bare, please don't hesitate."
