"Grandmas house!" Alura squealed. "You really want to spend summer at grandmas house?" Kara asked. "Yea." Alura replied. Kara looked at Lena who shrugged. "Momma and I will discuss this ok...but for now let's finish our lunch ." Kara said. Alura nodded and continued eating her food. After lunch was cleared away Alrua hopped off to watching cartoons on the television while Lena and Kara remained in the kitchen discussing their summer plans. "Do you want to go back to Midvale?" Lena asked. "Not really...I'd rather go anywhere but Midvale. I was sort of hoping she'd pick Germany or something...honestly. But if she really wants to go to Midvale then we can talk about it more before deciding..." "Let's go to Midvale! It'll be the perfect little get away and it would be nice to see Alex and Sam again...and Eliza." Lena said cutting off Kara.
"Well ok! It's settled then we'll set out for Midvale in a couple days." Kara replied. "Good! I'll go tell our daughter the news." Lena replied as she kissed her wife quickly before heading to the living room. "Alura...you, me and mommy are going to Midvale in a couple of days." Lena said. "Really?" Alura asked. "Yes darling!" Lena replied. "Yay!" Alura squealed. Lena smiled as she left her daughter to watch her cartoons while she went to find Kara.
Kara was outside by the pool looking out over the rolling hills. It was something she would do from time to time when she needed to clear her head or just think things over. She only used to do this when Alura would be asleep or at a friend's house for the night. However here she was again thinking about their trip to Midvale this summer. She shut her eyes and tried to clear her head when she felt a pair of arms wrap around her waist and a chin settle on her shoulder. "Stop over thinking everything love, it's gonna be alright. We'll go to Midvale, and have a wonderful time with our family...and there's a lake there...so you'll still get to see me in a bikini..." Lena whispered.
