A few minutes after Alura returned home did Eliza bring over Lori and her finger paintings. Right now Kara's pinning the paintings onto the fridge while Lena stirs the spaghetti sauce. "Did you have fun at grandmas?" Alura asked. "Yesh me do!" Lori replied with a smile. "Those are nice paintings Lori!" Alrua said as she worked on her homework. "Tank u!" Lori replied as she played with her astronaut toy. "Lori, go put your you away honey, dinners almost ready." Lena said. "O tay mommy." Lori said as she slid from her chair and headed to the living room.
"Momma...can you help me with this problem?" Alrua asked. "Sure thing sweetheart! What's the problem?" Lena asked as she looked over at the math book open. Alura pointed to the problem she was having trouble with. "Hmmm I see. If you have one cupcake and three friends how do you cut it so each person has the same amount of?" Lena read as she grabbed a pen and paper. "Look here, cupcakes are round right?" Lena asked, as Alura nodded. "Ok so show me how many slices I'll need." Lena said. Alrua looked at the circle for a moment before figuring out that she'd have to cut the cupcake int thirds. "Everyone would get one third!" Alrua piped up! "Good job!" Lena replied with a smile. "Thank you momma! That's my last one!" Alura added. "Good girl! Put it away and come back so we can have dinner." Lena said.
"Dinners ready!" Kara announced. Alura got herself and Lori drinks while Lena got hers and Kara's drinks. "Her you go girls! Spaghetti and meatballs and garlic knots." Kara said as she sat down their plates. "Thank you!" They both replied before digging in. "This is really good love." Lena said. "Thank you darling." Kara replied. "So girls, this weekend, mommy and I are gonna go buy some stuff for your baby brothers, would you like to come with us and pick some stuff out too?" Kara asked. "I want to come!" Alura said. "Me to!" Lori chimed in. "Ok then! This weekend we'll go shopping together!" Lena said.
