Today Lena would be heading to her first ever school field trip as a parent. She was nervous and excited at the same time. "Have fun with momma today, make sure you listen to everything she says." Kara said. "Yes mommy." Alura said. "Good, I packed your lunches." Kara added as she passed two lunch boxes to Lena. "Thank you love." Lena said. "You're welcome, take lots of pictures and have fun." Kara said as they got into the car and headed to school.
Lori was playing with her blocks organizing them by colors when Kara checked on her. "What ya doing peanut?" Kara asked. "Sotin my bocks." Lori said. "Very good darling and by colors. You my darling are very smart." Kara cooed as she sat down on the sofa. The morning sickness had finally passed and now Kara was in the 'strange cravings' part of the pregnancy. Right now she had a craving for pickles and mint chocolate chip ice cream.
After getting a bowl ice cream and pickle spears she returned to the sofa and clicked on a cartoon for Lori to watch. Her favorite show was 'Bluey' Lori was fascinated by the family of dogs. It made Kara think that maybe they should get a dog. That would be something she'd have to discuss with Lena at some point.
Meanwhile at Alura's school everyone was loading up into the only bus they have. It's only used for field trips since most of the kids are brought to school by their parents. "Come on sweetheart, let's get you situated." Lena said as they got on the bus. They took a seat in a seat across from where Sara and Alice sat. "Are you excited Alura?" Alice asked. "Yes! I can't wait! This is momma's first time going to a field trip. Mommy's home with Lori." Alrua replied. "How is she doing with the pregnancy?" Sara asked. "It's going well...she's out of the morning sickness now. Thank goodness! Now she's on to the weird cravings part." Lena said. "Eating anything weird?" Sara asked. "Mint chocolate chip ice cream and pickles." Lena groaned. "Ewww!" Alice said. "Eww indeed." Lena replied chuckling.
