Loona walked along the street holding Balin in her arms after the hold-up by her own arch-enemy from the orphanage and his gang of loan-sharks.

He was still shook after the event, so Loona stroked his back for comfort. "Shhhh..." she whispered, as he snuggled up to her tightly. "The bad guys won't hurt us anymore. We're still here."

Yawning, Balin then calmed back down and loosened his grip on the hug. It was like his mother was whispering sweet nothings in his ear again, like 'We're still/back together again' or 'It's gonna be okay' or 'I promise I'm always here'.

It was impressive how Loona was managing to succeed at all three, even if she still had her standards when it came to carrying children in her arms in front of people, let alone other demons.

"Can I walk now Loona?" Balin asked her. "Sure little guy, but remember, stay close." she replied as she put him down next to her leg. The boy then held onto it as they arrived at the coffee shop.

The exterior of the cafe looked like something you'd see in the 1960's, while the interior was like most cafes nowadays.

This cafe was called 'Fire & Brimstone's Diner'.

It had smooth jazz playing over the speakers, the smell of toasted bread & cakes melted in the microwave was in the air, and most of all, demons were sitting down with meals & drinks. The cafe was owned by a gay couple by the name of Fire and Brimstone, who Balin and Loona walked up to by coincidence.

Fire was a Chihuahua hellhound head-chef with flaming red and orange hair, and Brimstone was a lean imp cashier with glasses and Scottish bagpipe-checkered tattoos all over his arms.

"And what'll it be this mornin'?" asked Brimstone the imp, in a cheerful Scottish accent. "I'll just grab myself a flat white." Loona said to him holding her phone, as usual, ready to pay.

"That'll just be $5.50, thanks." he said typing it into the register as Loona held her phone over the reader. All paid, he ripped up a receipt and handed it to Fire who by coincidence walked past him grabbing it. Then Brimstone noticed Balin hiding right next to Loona's furry leg feeling anxious.
