It was now a couple of days into November, and with his uniform on and his backpack around his shoulders, Balin returned to school excited to see his friends again after the events of Halloween night.
One of the most epic and ballsiest Halloweens he's already had so far. And he was still a little kid!
Ready to start another school day, the boy waltzed along the courtyard with his recognisable smile as he put his backpack on the bag rack, just in time for the school bell to ring.
Balin then walked all the way down to homeroom to see Matt standing among the students in the classroom hallway and waving to him.
"Balin!" he shouted out to him, happy as usual to see his best friend.
"Matt!" the boy smiled, as he then gave him their signature BFF handshake.

After the handshake, they went straight into homeroom to start the day getting their names marked off, while Leni and Buzz eyed the two suspiciously from one side of the classroom.
AT LUNCH-TIME...
After the first half of the school day with two easy classes, English and Maths, Balin was now ready to sit with Matt and the rest of the gang, just as soon as he could get his lunch order complete.
"Order 123 for Balin Johnson!" yelled one of the two lunch ladies.
There were two lunch ladies working the school cafeteria: One was a skinny woman with a pot-belly in the middle, like she was a ballerina, wearing a turtleneck up to her mouth, only showing her glasses and her afro. And the second one was a much younger woman, her young adult daughter who used to go to the school.
