Via and Tex still had Balin wrapped up in their warm embrace after showing them his incredible singing skills.

"OMS Balin!" exclaimed Via in excitement. "Your voice! Why didn't you tell me you could sing like that?"

"I don't know." Balin replied modestly.

"Well let me tell you now kid, that was incredible." Tex smiled, as he ruffled the boy's head.

Balin madly blushed at the love and feedback he receiving for the most favourite but vulnerable of his passions, as he asked Via to keep this a secret from Loona and her I.M.P colleagues for now.

"Don't worry, darling." she replied. "We all have our times somehow. And given time, you'll, have, yours. Boop!" Balin giggled adorably as Via gave him a little boop on his nose.

Tex then cleared his throat remembering to call Loona about bringing him to the mansion. "Oh, speaking of Loona, BRB you two. Just gotta give her a heads-up."

The male hellhound then grabbed out his phone and was just about to call Loona's, when ironically, she started calling his. So Tex quickly answered it.

"Y'ello?" "Hey, hey Tex. W'sup?" said Loona, almost letting out an awkward snort. "Nothin' much. W'sup with you?" he asked.

MEANWHILE, ON EARTH...

Loona was calling an hour away from the city, at a cemetery where the gang were burying the bodies of the masseuse, and the men from the spa who got ripped apart by the stray pack of dogs she lead them to earlier on.

"Oh, you know, just finished off the kiddo's 'Choose Your Own Adventure' mission." she replied, twirling her hair. "And we're just about to head back to get our pay once we're done here, then we'll pick him up."

"Oh, really?" Tex said from the other end of the phone. "Well, shit, great timing. I was just about to call you."

"You were? Is-Is Balin okay?" she asked with a little concern.

Tex then looked over at Balin and Via to then see a beautiful sight. Balin was showing Via the homework he was working on earlier at Bee's place and the marks he got on his other school work, which had a green tick stamped in the middle of the first page.

"Aww darling, that is amazing." she said, then gave him soft head rubs as he softly hugged her. "I guess I have one more reward for you." she gently kissed his forehead as they smiled looking up at each other.

"Yep, he's... he's good now." Tex replied. "It's just, I actually got a call from Stolas saying that Via was at home alone after her meeting and I thought while I guard the palace, Balin could keep her company as she rehearses. ...Right after Carmilla Carmine came and..."

"THE Carmilla Carmine?" Loona sounded like she widened her eyes and perked her ears up through the phone.

And she did. "You mean the... the angel killer?" she continued with a whisper.

"That's the one." Tex replied. "And... did what? Did she hurt him?" asked Loona.

"Well, maybe a little." Tex replied also whispering. "During his homework with us and her partner, she was saying all this shit about him becoming an angel when he died, then..."

Tex then stopped talking for a bit to hear Loona softly growling in a slightly pissed-off mood.

"Called him, insecure?" Tex finished feeling more sheepish. "But don't worry. He's okay now."
