As she crouched down, Balin, Matt, and Amy gently got off a puffed-out Loona's back as they still showed their speechless looks.

They were standing in front of the final store of a rental video chain that shut down a couple of years before they were born, with only a couple left in the home country they were a thousand miles away from.

"Blockbuster Video?" Matt said in a stunned voice.

"But... I thought it was shut down." added Amy, just as stunned as he was.

Balin then looked through the window of the store, to see all the DVDs up for rent in that store. He couldn't see much in there though, considering the lights in this one were about to go out with dusk falling.

"Well, Loona and the others did say the Grimoire could take us anywhere in the world." said Balin, with a surprised yet happy look on his face.

Matt and Amy took their turns looking through the windows too, as Balin then saw Loona still on all fours, still panting heavily like a normal canine after that ride.

So while they admired the sight for the first time since it closed... at their birth, he walked over to her to see if she was fine.

"Loona?" he leaned closely to her. "Are you...?"

Loona soon caught him off-guard a little, as with all her might, she gave him a sudden lick to the cheek, making him giggle without the others knowing.

"All good... kiddo. I just... never ran that fast before." she chuckled a bit. "Remember, when I said that... I carried Blitzø and the others... on my back during... one of my missions? That, was a lie."

Balin then chuckled too at that last part, before looking at the building again to see a vending machine near the right side of the building.

Running over to the machine, he grabbed some money out of his wallet to grab Loona a soda to regain her energy. Thank goodness he didn't have Australian money in his allowance from her since it worked differently in the states, and thank God he still had money at all after what was probably his favourite hellhound back ride yet.

Using the money, which was about 99 cents, Balin pressed on a button, choosing can of strawberries-and-cream flavoured Dr. Pepper.

Ironically, an old jingle for the beverage was already playing on the radio.

As Balin watched the drink slide down into the slot, he then grabbed the can, popped the cork off the can, and ran back to Loona.

All the while, a teenage goth boy walked up to the machine and looked at the different beverages to choose from, before seeing Dr. Pepper.
