A couple of days later...

After he was all cleaned and dressed for the day, in his new blue t-shirt and snug tracksuits from the mall, Balin was ready for the day ahead of him with Loona.

She managed to book a time to meet with his old primary school and see if he could get re-enrolled.

As he waited for her in the living room, he decided to watch some cartoons from the living world on the TV. One he watched was an episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse "Mickey Goes Fishing" and soon, Loona came out with the Grimoire in her hands as the end credits played.

"You good to go, little meal?" she asked him. Balin chuckled at his new nickname as he turned off the TV. "Yes Loona. I am." he replied.

Soon, she grabbed out the piece of paper Balin's parents gave her during their visit to the safe house. When she sniffed it and got it into her tracking system, she got a curious feeling of some kind.

"Hmm... something familiar about this place." she thought to herself.

Nonetheless, she shrugged it off and then gave the boy the Grimoire, allowing him to use it once. He was curious on how to use it for the first time, which meant he was a little worried he'd screw it up. "Are you sure, Loona?" he looked up at her.

"Here, I'll help you out." she smiled. She knelt down and quickly turned the pages with a tickle of her claws, until she got to the old portal spell without putting a tear in the pages.

"This here's a spell we used to recite for whenever I.M.P had missions to go on." she explained. "You just simply close your eyes, imagine where you'd want to go, and run your hand along here."

"Okay. Hey, what do you mean 'used to?'" Balin asked her again.

"Well, when we got the crystal, Stolas took back the book from 'Mr. Blitzø', saying that we didn't need it anymore."

"But don't we need it for this?" Loona again giggled at Balin's innocence a little.

"Yeah, we do. But he decided to give this to me to see your family the other day. And... you know what? We can use this to go to Earth whenever you feel like a visit. Like a meal at McDonalds, or just a day of fun like last time, just say the word."

"Okay Loona." Balin thought she was talking about the Grimoire, and so he closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and slowly traced his fingers along the spell on the page.

"Abracadabra, alakazam!" he softly spoke as he kept his eyes closed and a portal opened in front of them, showing them the inside of the large hedge of a mansion right next to the school.

"Did you just say abracadabra?" Loona laughed, ruffling the kid's hair. "C'mon, we better make this quick if we don't wanna miss our little pool party afterward."

The two then walked through the hedge out to the street, giving Loona enough time to get into her human disguise.

"Of yeah! The pool party." continued Balin as Loona lightly chuckled. "How could anyone forget?"

FLASHBACK

A couple of days ago, after returning from their day-trip to Tathra, Loona and Balin walked into the I.M.P building carrying a shopping bag, as the three imps were working.

Millie ran up to him and pulled him into a tight hug. "There's my baby human boy!" she cooed as Balin then wrapped his arms around her. Moxxie then walked up and gently rubbed his silky hair, while Blitzø just gave him a few hard pats on the back.

"Welcome home kiddo!" he energetically said. "We were so jazzed up when Loonie told us you wanted to stay here longer."

"But what made you want to, kid?" Moxxie asked him.
