Loona and Balin were sleeping together in his bed after the boy's hilarious bedwetting incident last night.
With his head and his arm resting on her side, Loona was still curled up around him like a normal dog to keep him toasty, even with her bushy tail wrapped around him.
As the sunlight in the red sky shone golden bright, Balin slowly woke up and soon felt the fur on Loona's tail up against his body as it was wrapped up around him. He then turned his head which was still laid on her side to see her sleeping face. How cute it looked as she softly snoozed.
This adorable sight made Balin smile, knowing it was like a human's dream-come-true to snuggle with their dog as they rested, without getting growled away.
He began giving Loona some very soft scratches behind her ears, which made her purr with a warm smile. As he continued doing that, her tail wagged up and down like it was petting him. It made him giggle a bit as the fur tickled him.
This cute display went on for 6 more seconds until Balin stopped scratching and noticed it wasn't enough to wake up the big sleeper that Loona was.
So he thought of another idea. A cheeky idea.
He leaned down to Loona's face and started giving her furry cheek some little licks, like she would do with him.
"Whoa! What the f...?"
She was stunned by this at first, but she started squirming and giggling. This was almost like the first night they met.
A couple of seconds later... "Come here you!" Loona woke right up, quickly spun out of her curled-up position, and carefully pinned Balin on the bed on all fours.
"Hehehehehe." he giggled softly.
"Balin Johnson! I can't believe you did that." she giggled. "And I thought I was the hellhound here."
She then cheekily rubbed her snout along his face making Balin giggle.
"*Giggles* Sorry Loona. I didn't mean to do that." he apologised.
"Aww, hey, it's not like I'm mad or anything." chuckled Loona. "That is one way to wake me up."
"Even on a school day?" asked Balin, earning him a kiss on the cheek from Loona. "Sure."
It was then she heard Balin's tummy rumbling. "Hmm... is someone hungry?" she teased him.
"You?" the boy teased her back, booping her nose.
Giggling from that comeback, Loona then put a hungry look on her face and licked her lips.
"Dang right I am." she whispered grimly.
She started giving Balin love bites on his face, ears, and neck, making him squirm next.
