Give Me || Suga Fanfic

Twenty-Eight.

Min started laughing as he watched Miles put his gloved fist in his mouth, his brain almost visibly imploding with the new overload of information he was taking in. 

"Whoa, Rae, you almost got me. I never thought you were a prankster, but this," he pointed at his screen. "This was very convincing. You almost had me fooled! He is identical to Agust D! Is he a co-worker?"

Rae bit her lip, wishing she could make Min invisible while she explained the situation to her brother. Explaining the situation with Min right beside her felt like an added pressure. 

"This is..." Rae couldn't spit the words out. It's not that she didn't want to, but Miles's reaction made her hesitate. Miles recognized him as Agust D, but he still didn't believe it.

Min didn't even try to hold back the grin that erupted on his face as he answered for Rae. "I am Rae's boyfriend. It's nice to meet you, Miles."

Miles froze. "Boyfriend?!" Miles broke out into laughing tears. "Okay, okay, now I know you're lying. Rae doesn't date. The joke is up. No, really, who are you?" Miles asked, squinting again at the screen.

Min paused, his eyes trying to communicate how serious he was. "I am Min Yoongi, and I am dating your sister."

Miles went completely silent, his face awestruck. He stared at the two of them for a long time, not breaking his eyes away from Rae and Min.

"Rae Rae, this is for real? You're dating...Agust D?" he said each word slowly, letting them sink in one by one. 

Rae nodded. "I am. Also, you can call him Min," Rae clarified. 

Min shrugged. "He can call me Agust D, Suga, Yoongi, Min, or Hyung, any of it works."

Miles held back what seemed like a boyish squeal, and Rae was mortified that Min had to watch her brother restrain himself from fanboying. 

"I am speechless. I have so many questions..." Miles said smiling in disbelief.

Miles slowly turned as footsteps could be heard in the background. "Um, Rae, I am going to have to call you back, Mom might actually have a heart attack when she finds out you have a boyfriend, so I need to prepare her first. Plus, I don't want her to embarrass you by freaking out that you're dating Suga. I will break the news and call you back."

Rae shook her head, wishing Miles realized that she was equally as embarrassed by him as she would be by her mom.

Miles hung up the call and Rae stared at her black screen. She let out a sigh of relief as Min wrapped his arm around Rae's shoulder and kissed her on the cheek. 

"See, that wasn't so hard, was it?" Min smiled.

Rae turned to look at him and was tempted to reprimand him, but she cowered as soon as Min caught her eyes. He had too much power over her to have her actually be upset.

Rae sighed. "It wasn't bad, but I am still embarrassed."

Min shook his head. "Don't be embarrassed. I don't mind that he is a fan, if anything, hopefully, that will make him approve of me more. I am dating his sister after all. Isn't it pretty well known that the brothers are the hardest to win over? Maybe this gives me a running start," Min winked.

"I can safely guarantee that you have won him over already," Rae laughed. 

"He has won me over too.  I like his personality, he seems like a character. He reminds me of Jungkook," Min chuckled at his comparison. 

Rae smiled. "I am looking forward to meeting the rest of the BTS members. You speak so highly of each of them."

Min nodded. "I am excited to show you off. RM and Jin have already mentioned you plenty in the group thread, and the rest of the members can't wait to meet you in person. Hopefully soon." Min looked at the clock in his room and let out a satisfied sigh. "Time is ticking, sunshine. Let's get ready; we have a date to get to."
