Rae gave Min a brief tour of the Clark's humble home and escorted him to Miles's room.

Min contently looked around the space, taking in Miles's choice of displayed knick-knacks and decor.

On top of his dresser he had a variety of CD's, all from George Strait to Eminem to...D-Day. Of course, he had D-Day. Rae wanted to cover Min's eyes while she hid the album but it was too late, he had noticed it immediately and a grin spread across his face. He picked up the album and analyzed its pristine condition.

"I am honored," he said in an amused tone and placed it back on the shelf.

Min kept looking at the rest of the items, coming upon a picture of Miles and Rae with a German Shepherd.

"Do you have a dog?" Min inquired.

"I do. That is Gordo, he's almost ten now. He's a farm dog so he sleeps in the barn. He prefers it actually," Rae explained.

"Do you have other animals then?" he asked.

Rae nodded. "More than I can count."

"I'd love to see the farm. In fact, while I am here, I want to see it all," Min wrapped his arm around Rae's waist and pulled her in tightly, and gave a quick glance to the open door to see if anyone was near. With the area clear, he leaned in, his lips tickling Rae's ear as he whispered. "I want to see what shaped and made Rae Clark. I want to see all the things that are part of your identity." Min placed a soft kiss on Rae's temple and quickly untangled himself from her side, not wanting to get caught being too close.

"I'd be happy to show you," Rae said happily.

Rae began to turn down the bed, throwing off the mound of grey decorative pillows adorning Miles's bed and stacking them in the corner. "I hope you'll be comfortable in here tonight. I am certain your hotel would be much better accommodations."

"My hotel wouldn't have you in the room next door. Trust me, this is the real five-star stay," he quickly winked while helping Rae with the last pillow.

"Min," Rae said shyly, leaning against the wall.

"Hmm?" Min replied, looking at Rae with curiosity.

"I am happy you are here right now." The words left Rae's lips quietly. She felt she needed to say them. She needed him to know how much it meant to her. She needed him to know how much he meant to her.

Min caught the sincerity immediately, and he bit his bottom lip, holding back his smile. "I am glad you feel that way. I am happy to be here." He let out a chuckle. "However, I haven't yet apologized to you. I am sorry I made your father so uncomfortable by showing up unannounced."

Rae waved a dismissive hand. "It's not you, it's what you are," she explained.

"An idol?" Min asked, raising an eyebrow as he opened his bag and started taking out his toiletries.

"No, my boyfriend," Rae clarified.

Min nodded his head and laughed. "That makes sense. Hopefully, he will come around eventually. I want to impress him, or at least show him my intentions." He pursed his lips as he looked at Rae, the weight of his words suddenly feeling heavy and real.

Rae cleared her throat, trying to distract Min's intense stare that was giving her goosebumps. "I'm sure you'll win him over in time. He's just putting up a front so you don't think he's a pushover. He's watched too many romance movies with my mom, I think pretending to be the tough dad has been ingrained into him," Rae said.

Min entwined his fingers with Rae's, stroking the back of her hand, studying each finger intently. "Ahh, noted. I can be the perfect romance movie boyfriend."

Rae chuckled. "You already are, Min. You already are."
