Rae startled from her sleeping position as Holly jumped off the couch, the sound of the door opening to the apartment jolting Rae awake.

Min was quiet as he approached Rae, groaning as he slipped off his leather jacket and laid down alongside her, pulling her in close as he let out a deep sigh and tightly shut his eyes.

Rae turned into him, their breath mingling with one another as their noses touched, the scent of him stirring Rae to full alertness.

"What time is it?" Rae gently whispered as she pushed a stray strand of Min's hair from his face.

Min kept his eyes closed as a short smile tugged at the corners of his lips. "I stopped checking after 1 A.M."

Rae's heart sunk as she did the calculations herself, Min's 16 hour work day evidently displayed on his gorgeous face, that still looked flawless despite the fatigue that was settling upon him.

"Min . . ." Rae whispered, the concern of him being overworked creeping in once again.

Min's heavy eyelids struggled to open, but he managed anyways, the intensity and adoration in his eyes apparent even as he fought sleep.

"I'm alright. Not much longer and I won't be able to have work days like this."

Rae nodded in understanding, knowing full well that in only seven days, Min would officially begin his military service as a civil servant. All week, he had been cramming in as much as he could for work, giving all he had every day until the very end. Rae smiled tenderly at him, the fire and passion for music never simmering, and she truly admired him for it.

Rae settled deeper into Min's chest, clinging to him tightly. As much as it hurt her to see him giving so much of himself, to a close level of burn out, she understood why he was doing it. Why he needed to do it. And she would allow him to do whatever was necessary to feel as prepared as possible for the 18 months ahead.

Rae was grateful that although military service was bittersweet for the members, it was another unique opportunity for Rae and Min. While the other members had to serve in their units, Min's service was set up like an 8 to 5 job, one that would allow him to come home every night, and be with her every morning. Separation wasn't necessary in his position, and with the break from BTS, it gave ample time for Rae and Min to focus on wedding preparations.

Although, not much was proving to be required of Min and Rae. Ji-Sun had taken it upon herself to be the maid of honor and the wedding planner. She boasted all she needed was a budget and a wedding date, and when Min told her she had until 2025, so that all the members could be present for the wedding, and that for the budget, she had none, she almost fainted.

After seeing her reaction, and after her suggestion of renting wild animals to adorn each side of the isle, Rae decided to step in to reel in her overambitious best friend, setting budget restraints and somewhat realistic expectations for two introverts getting married on a public stage.

While Min had been filming a new show, Suchwita, earlier that day, Rae and Ji-Sun had been busy picking out an important piece for the wedding.

Rae tilted her chin up to catch a glimpse of Min, who seemed ready to fall asleep at any moment. Rae parted from Min's arms as she attempted to pull him up, doing her best to motivate him to make his way to the bed, where she knew he would sleep much more comfortably.

After long days like today, it was almost impossible to get Min off the stiff leather couch, his body too tired to move an inch further, but he always woke up with a sore back and neck, and Rae had promised she would do everything she could to move him to his bed, even if he protested.

When Min wouldn't budge, Rae let out a sigh, and decided to bait Min with something she knew he would take interest in.

"I got something for the wedding when Ji-Sun and I went out today," she stated, waiting to see if he would fall for it, and to Rae's pleasant surprise, he did.

Min's eyes had lit up at the phrase, and he even had shifted into a sitting position as he looked at her. "What did you get?" he inquired, rubbing his eyes with his hands and ruffling his hair as he tried to make himself stay awake.

Rae smiled and slipped out of the living room, beckoning Min to follow. "Come and see, I have it ready for you in the bedroom."

Min's eyebrows raised up on his forehead at that sentence, and he followed slowly behind Rae.

As he pushed open the door, Min's face caught in surprise at the unexpected scene before him. Rae was sitting on the bed, holding a large poster that in black letters said -

                                                                     YOONGI, MARRY ME?

Min couldn't stifle his laugh as he watched Rae's smile spread across her face. Min's fans had been teasing Min, and the other BTS members, for months with signs and messages saying, "Yoongi, Marry Me", even before he had officially proposed to Rae. It had become such a common joke between them all, that Rae felt she had to utilize it to propose to Min.

Rae pulled out a small box from behind her back, and flipped it open to display a simple gold wedding band that matched Rae's engagement ring.

"I thought it only fair that I formally ask you as well." Rae cleared her throat, doing her best to display a serious face despite the smirk tugging at her lips. "Yoongi, will you marry me?"

Min closed the distance between them, taking the sign from Rae's grasp and her outstretched hand with the ring.

"You are the only person that could ask me that, and I would say yes," Min whispered in his deep, groggy voice that sent chills up Rae's spine. Min leaned in, his lips hovering over Rae's as he kissed her, unabashed and unrestrained as he continued to pursue every inch of her porcelain skin.

Min felt the vibrations of Rae's laugh as he kissed the base of her neck, his nose nudging the buttons of her satin pajamas. "So . . . are you saying yes?" Rae asked.

Min looked up at Rae, his eyes wild and suddenly brimming with energy as his gaze devoured her. "Sunshine, I hope you know by now, I will always say yes to you."

Rae shuddered as Min closed the gap between them, his fingers entangling in her hair, pulling her closer to him. With each heat of a kiss and exchange of breath, their bond would deepen, their souls entangle. Rae knew she would never get enough, and she was grateful she had forever to try and satiate the need that Min lit inside of her.

Rae smiled as she realized how amazing it really was that they had found each other - that they had found their home.
