Jin Guang Yao and Mo XuanYu looked at each other with a smile on their faces and turned to Jin Ling who was busy giving commands to the dog. Jin Ling took out some things from his pouch and threw them on the floor. GuangYao looked carefully and a crease formed in between his eyebrows.
"What are you doing with them? ", he asked, looking at the pieces of rugs, papers and some random things Jin Ling threw on the ground.
"Ohh I remember this", Jin Ling, suddenly getting excited, stirred in his seat. "Just watch, okay?", even without looking at his friends, he could tell what they were going to ask.
Jin Ling grinned, "definitely not making more work to the maids"
"I highly doubt that", Wei WuXian shook his head, purposely triggering his nephew.
"Didn't you always said your donkey is smart", turning back to Wei WuXian he said, " I will show you how smart my Fairy is"
"Fairy", he called and the black dog looked up at him immediately. Her big round sparkling as she watches her master. Its long tail wagging forever and the whole body is shaking with affection, the dog is barely standing.
"Fairy, can you act like uncle Yao? ", There was a smile widening on Jin Ling's face while he said this as he watched his uncle opening his mouth. "Wha.." He put his finger on his lips to stop Jin GuangYao from interrupting the moment and signaled to Fairy.
"Show uncle Yao? ", Lan XiChen repeated. "Jin Ling, am I hearing it right?"
"Of Course you are, Zewu-Jun", Jin Ling's face was as bright as the sun. He couldn't show the world how smart his dog is, especially in front of certain people who always mocked his fairy, calling her a Fatty dog.
Fairy, as soon as she heard it started sniffing around the pile on the floor. Mo XuanYu and Jin GuangYao observed the scene like they were watching some rare show.
"What are they doing together?"
"My son is smart so will be his dog", YanLi was nothing but proud although she had zero idea about what was going to happen. A quick look at Jiang Cheng's face and there it was, a small smile.
"A-Xian", she whispered.
"Mm? ", Wei WuXian glanced at her, not wanting to miss anything happening on screen. Though he was scared of the dog, he also wanted to know the reason his dear nephew seemed to be extremely arrogant just now.
"A-Cheng is smiling", She tints her head towards her brother. "I think he know what is going to happen"
"Jiang Cheng", Wei WuXian didn't miss another second. He asked as soon as he saw Jiang Cheng's eyes on him. "What are they going to do?"
"NOO", Jin Ling held Jiang Cheng's face with both of his hands and turned it to the other side, not allowing him to look at WuXian anymore.
"Noo.. Uncle Don't tell them", he pleaded.
Holding on the wrist of his nephew, Jiang Cheng chuckled lightly. "Okay okay, let me go. I won't say anything"
"Sure? ", There was a hint of doubt in Jin Ling's voice as he released the hold. "Not even Zewu-Jun?". Jiang Cheng nodded and Jin Ling only let go of his face when he got the full affirmation from him to not spoil anything.
Finally finding what she needed, Fairy looked at Jin Ling, her tail waving at a high speed. She jumped up and down and put her mouth in the pile digging out something. Jin GuangYao's eyes squinted and widened in a bit of a moment as he realised what was that thing. The dear dog turned her head, and put the piece of golden cloth she found on the floor, on its own body and then very carefully took another piece now black in colour and put it on her head and started walking back and forth.
