I have read all your comments. Though I was expecting some extreme reactions (even more with this chapter) I can't give in to the threats, guys🙎♀️ If you want to vent your anger at how the story is going, you are welcome to do it. But I really hope you will stay until the end. Because as the title implies this story is to Heal... Not to make more burns 💞
Long chapter ahead...

"He was hurt not because I did something", she smirked at the couple before continuing, "He is hurt just because your dearest Wei WuXian or should I say Mo XuanYu is going to die soon"
Wei WuXian is going to die?? What nonsense is she speaking now? Does she even respect others? Gambling and challenging the lives of other people. Is the value of a human life so less for her to talk about death like nothing?
Now she has crossed all the limits that none of them wanted to hold back and act respectfully.
"Lady, Just because you are overpowered here doesn't mean you have the authority to say anything you want", Lan QiRen's voice shakes in anger as he goes out with his frustration. He is the elder after all, but this lady didn't even spare an ounce of respect not only to him but to anyone in that regard. All she did was control and order them around, basically making them a puppet.
Given the fact that her ability to control nature and superficial power to display the past (and maybe future also) was very admirable, none of them was ready to give her an easy pass. Even though they enjoyed most of the moments and were cherishing this rare opportunity to go back to their old times, it also reminded them of the terrible truths they were subconsciously trying to run away from.
Lan QiRen continued, "You manipulating his thoughts is what led Wei WuXian to this condition"
"Exactly", they backed him up without a second thought.
Wei WuXian was still half lying on Lan WangJi's arms, supported by his body. He wanted to say something to stop this but at this point whatever he says will only result in adding to the fire. He could only let out some groans because though the pain subdued this body was still fatigued.
This was it. What Lan WangJi is always scared of. He thought when the time comes he could prepare himself to face the consequences but now watching his other half, his soulmate, the only man he ever laid his eyes on and loved with all his might, lying in his arms, Lan WangJi understood one thing. He will never be ready to send off his Wei Ying. If it was not for this man, the hollow inside Lan WangJi's mind would have never filled with light.
His heart ached realizing how helpless he is now. Neither was he able to protect his husband nor stop this ridiculous talk about his death.
"Aahh", She nodded her head, lips curving upwards, "I see, you grew fond of your nephew-in-law. Lan QiRen, weren't you among those people who always tried to bring him down? One of those who wanted him to be dead?"
The mockery in her tone was very direct like a slap on Lan QiRen's face.
"Now that I'm delivering good news, how come no one is happy?"
"Because that was in the past"
Jiang Cheng clicked his tongue in utter annoyance. This lady and her antics are more far than what they could tolerate. "You think we are still waiting for his demise?", he spat.
"Lady, with all due respect for helping us to open our eyes", Jiang Cheng carried an undeniably strong aura of the sect leader many of them were not familiar with. "If one more word disrespecting my brother or any of us comes out of your mouth, I will personally make sure to finish you and it shouldn't have to be here and now"
